URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Surprise, AZ Meet Ghost! He is an 11 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 60 lbs. He is neutered, but isn’t up to date on shots or on heartworm prevention. Ghost is good with older children and cats! No younger children or dogs, due to his reactivity! Ghost previously belonged to a relative who moved out of the country. The current owner is surrendering him because he is anxious around their other dogs and younger grandchildren. He needs to go immediately! If you think you can provide a great home for Ghost, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Ghost. Owner’s Contact Information: Jonathan 6 - jkqualls06@gmail.com

Story
***Courtesy Post: Howdy! My name is Dude. I am a 3-year old Asutralian Shepherd mix and I am looking for a new forever home. I passed my beginner training classes, know my basic commands and listen very well. I am also house and crate trained. I get along great with all adults and older mindful children. I am not a good fit for a home with young children as I get a bit anxious around running children and want to herd or corral them. I do get along with other dogs and cats and love to play or just chill with my humans. Please, can you give me a furever home? I will make a great companion. Dude is neutered and vaccinated. His adoption fee of $200 helps offset medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application *:  helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up. November 20, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Leia is a 4-year-old (and 8-month-old) sweetheart with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. This 60-pound beauty is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines—she even comes with a lifetime transferable vaccine program through AZ Pet Vet! Leia’s birthday is March 15, 2020, making her a Pisces, so it’s no surprise she’s a mix of fun and chill vibes. She’s a medium-energy pup who adores squeaky toys, playing with balls, and relaxing on the couch for a cozy movie night. She also loves being brushed—perfect for bonding time! This clever girl knows her name and commands like sit, shake, and is housebroken, dog door trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s great in the car once she gets comfortable. While she’s not a fan of the pool, Leia is a champ during bath time! Leia shines as the center of attention and would thrive in a home where she’s the only dog. She loves people and would do best with older kids since she hasn’t had much experience with toddlers.

Story
PWRESCUE.ORG **PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY** Meet the lovely Guinness! At 7.5 years old and 70 pounds, this beautiful shepherd blend has been waiting for her forever home for over 1-1/2 years after being surrendered when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Guinness is a sweet, loving, and loyal companion who deserves a home where she can truly shine. She adores people and is sure to be a devoted friend. However, she prefers to be the only dog in the household, as she isn’t fond of other dogs—especially those smaller than herself. With proper introduction, she might be open to sharing her space with a similarly sized dog, but it would require a careful meet and greet. This gentle giant would be the perfect confidante, walking buddy, and best friend. Due to her size and strength, a home with children aged 12-14 or older, who have experience with larger dogs, would be ideal. Guinness is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you’re ready to give Guinness the loving home she’s been waiting for, please visit our website at https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.  Pathways Home Animal Rescue November 4, 2024, 2:59 pm

Story
We do not know exactly what she is as she is mixer. I hate to do this but I am looking to rehome my girl. I have special need children and with her animal aggression has made it very difficult to take her anywhere. Since we are a military family we need a dog that can travel well and wont be a risk of attacking animals. Crate and is house trained. Fully vaccinated. And fixed! She is not good with other dogs and shy with strangers. Once she gets comfortable she is extremely protective and will make an excellent guard dog. She is also great with kids, including babies. Our dog sitter did have a dog and once properly introduced she is fine but just going for a walk she does not do well with stranger dogs and gets a lot of anxiety when around new and a lot of people. Knows how to sit, stay, lay, paw and how to ring the bell to go outside. We are being selective with her rehoming. She is a fantastic dog just needs a more suitable family.
