Max is 3 1/2 years old, was just at PetSmart for a couple day stay as we went on vacation. They love him, and he plays very well with small or medium dogs. Very loving, loves to watch tv. He knows commands like sit, come, etc. Protective of our home. We don’t have many visitors, so he barks when they move. Just needs someone who can continue his training, because I do believe someone had him trained as a puppy. Does very will when he goes to be groomed.

I'm looking for my best bud for life! Is that you? My name is Sharma, and I’m a gorgeous gal with a silky smooth coat that’s perfect for pets. My past might be a mystery—I was found wandering on my own—but my future? That’s where you come in! I’m ready for endless adventures, fun playtimes, and cozy naps in my very own bed. Here’s a little more about me! I’m good with other dogs and would love to meet any furry friends before heading home with them. I’m fully potty trained and even handle bath time like a pro! I’m great on a leash, although I prefer a little more freedom to do my business—either on a long leash or in a secure backyard. I’ve been friendly (or totally unbothered) by other dogs I’ve met on walks, and I love people. I'm quiet, non-destructive, great in the car, and getting more comfortable every day. I do have moments when I get a little nervous—like hesitating on slick floors—but I’m learning quickly and getting braver all the time. I’m starting to play with toys, and I already know "sit" (especially if there’s a treat involved!). My foster says I’ve been an easy, sweet dog to care for, and I’m sure I’ll bring lots of love and joy to my forever family. Could that be you? Jingle is a 2 year old, 49 pound Aussie / Chow blend who joined us recently and she's hoping to find her forever home soon. She has good leash manners, and a calm disposition. She enjoys being outside and is easy to handle. She is a big fan of treats, and is very gentle, when accepting them. This beauty is living at our adoption center and hoping to meet you soon!No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the dog. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)!Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
