Astro came to rescue under sad circumstances with a torn ACL, although you'd never known the little guy was in pain. He is loving, friendly and playful. He has recovered from surgery, x-rays revealed he is completely healed. and now loves to run. He likes toys, balls especially. He'll play by himself if he has to, but prefers to play with other furry friends or human friends. He loves everyone but is cat-reactive. Astro is a high energy dog so he'll need daily walks and something like a Kong to keep him busy while in his kennel. He is very good on a leash, so much so that his 6-year-old foster sister can walk him without issues. He deserves a loving and caring home he can call his own and get lots of love and attention. Like all our dogs, Astro is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, micro chipped and had extensive bloodwork done due to his surgery. Astro's adoption fee is $350. Troy is a smart, funny, enjoyable dog. He is a quick-thinker and very playful and energetic. He somehow plays to the audience while on the leash and is a show-stopper. Handsome and confident, with an engaging smile and a variety of expressive ear positions! #charisma Troy takes treats carefully but firmly :) and his eyes are continually dancing as he is very happy to meet (and impress) new friends. He is irresistible and needs a breed-savvy guardian who'll guide him to reach his very best potential. May excel at not only obedience but agility? Troy has played well with some similar-sized herding breed dog friends - after careful introduction by trainers. His confidence has helped to encourage shy new dogs to join in the fun. Troy will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian.
