Lenny came from a hoarding situation with nearly 100 dogs and was part of the first group to be helped by PACC’s Animal Restoration Kennel facility (ARK). ARK was created for the explicit purpose of addressing hoarding conditions at sites scattered throughout the county, allowing the animals in these situations to get the physical care and socialization that they need. The dogs in this case range in age and size and even include mamas with babies- all are sweet, deserving dogs who dream of a loving home and a chance at a healthy, happy life. These dogs each have a unique personality- some are already vibrant and brave, while others need more TLC and help to build confidence, but all have love to share with their future family. “Lenny was easy to leash. Once we got him to the yard he did lots of sniffing and chilling out. He really, really loves affection and equally loves treats. Lenny will let you scratch his head and under his chin for several minutes. It seems that he is just shy and in time will learn to love human companionship.”Lenny shares his kennel and would likely benefit from a confident furry friend in his future home. Good thing he’s a COMPLETELY ADORABLE, well-behaved sweetie! Manny recently enjoyed a day out of the shelter on a day trip, and he was a fantastic companion! He enjoyed going for a hike, playing outside and enjoying a pup cup. He was described as an energetic, adventurous, well-behaved, super sweet boy! They also said that he does very well riding in the car and did great on a hike!“Manny is an awesome friend who is always ready for a good time. Loves to play and loves pup cups. Is down for whatever!”Manny shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
