Story
We do daycare and boarding in our home. We first got Ray as a client but the owners died and Ray was passed to a family member who couldn't care for him so he was left with us. We are not a good fit for pups who need a forever home. Too much stimulation and too many dogs coming and going. We did find a terrific home for him but as it turns out he fear nips strangers coming into the home. We weren't aware of the extent of this behavior. He needs to be in a home where he can be trained to stay on his mark and where he can begin to relax into a normal routine. He has had extensive training. He is a wonderful smart dog full of energy and love. We are heartbroken at the thought of him going to a shelter but we've kept him as long as we can and as I said this isn't a stable environment for any dog to call home. We've had him now for several months and he's beginning to act out. I'm praying someone has the patience and the love Ray needs as he deserves no less. Thank you for reading.

Story
He was abandoned with my old roomate in front of a petco in 2022. He had major behavioral issues, and since she was a dog trainer, we worked together to sort of fix him. He doesnt get along with other dogs right away, but after a couple safe introductions with boundaries he can make friends. He used to live with 4 other dogs happily. He just needs time. He knows a lot of tricks and is very food motivated, never has house accidents, and is pretty silly and sweet. The goofiest of geese. He is not destructive when hes alone, besides shredding his own toys or pulling his doggy bed around the house. he is very high energy and needs to be walked and trained regularly, and his food should always be fed in numerous puzzle toys. I work 10+ hour days, and although I take a break half way to potty him, I know he needs more. I'm depressed and I didnt intend to keep him beyond fixing his major behavioral problems. I just cant take him to a shelter. He deserves someone that can love him.

Story
Our family acquired Dawkins, an Australian Shepherd about 6 years old now, through a previous friend of my husband. This friend used to rent a room out of my husbands house, and when he eventually moved on, he was unable to take Dawkins with him so we have had him ever since. My husband and I are unsure as to Dawkins full life history, because he suffers from anxiety. We believe he is not in the right environment for his breed, as well as maybe experienced some trauma as a puppy. My husband and I had a baby in March, and ever since Dawkins has become more and more anxious, and is protective of my husband and I against the baby. Dawkins has tried harming the baby a few times. So it is safe to say Dawkins is not a family dog by any means, but I think he is misunderstood, and needs to be in a home with someone who can spend the time, attention, knowledge, and energy to care for him!

Story
This boys name is Baxter! He just turned one years old in October. He is deaf and blind in his left eye. Baxter is very energetic, playful, good with kids and other animals! He loves going on walks and going to the dog park. Due to his disability, he will need someone with experience in training/owning a deaf dog. Other than that, he is a very loving boy!
