Story
Now here's a young girl who's ready for fun! No need to ask twice--Davina will pack up and travel with you anywhere, anytime! She wears a constant smile on her face because she is just so full of joy! And it's contagious! She will entertain you with her silly antics and loves to do zoomies in the yard (fenced, please)! Naturally, she enjoys her activities because she's only a year old and at 47 pounds, she is a good size. She is fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm negative and will be spayed as soon as possible. As for her breed, the dog scanner lists her as a blend between an Australian Kelpie, Black and Tan Coonhound and Catahoula Leopard Dog. Davina was rescued from the Duplin County shelter in North Carolina in the nick of time and she's such a good save! Davina did well with other dogs when she was tested at the shelter and she adores her humans. Her zest for life is inspiring. If you are interested in sharing life's adventures with this sweet girl, then please email adoptsch@gmail.com for an adoption application or go to the website secondchancehabitat.org to download one.

Story
Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Meet Baja! Baja is here looking for her final forever home and hoping to never see the walls of a shelter again. Baja is VERY dog selective and only takes well to MALE dogs so please no female dogs in the home, any canine will need to have a meet and greet to ensure they get along. Baja may have some anxiety tendencies in the home, though she does okay here, we do want to give a heads up as there is a chance she has some separation anxiety tendencies that could be shown in a home setting. Baja would ask any children in the home be 6 and older. If you have any questions please see a kennel technician today.

Story
LOKI - 7 years old, 45 pounds, house/crate trained, friendly, active, no kids and no other pets. I had so much fun with Loki! It was only our first meeting and he wiggled so much in his excitement, it made me smile. Loki was surrendered after he had a run in with a child in the home. We are told he protects his toys/food/etc. Loki doesn't want anyone to steal his items so he will be looking for a new home where this behavior will be managed. He is said to not be good with other animals. Loki enjoys toys and loves to run. He does know sit and will sit for a treat but he doesn't wait long for that treat. The excitement gets to him!  He runs with a huge smile on his face! He will be searching for a breed savvy, adult-only home as the only pet. He is currently in a back kennel so ask for him by name. 341 S Birdneck Road, VB Open daily 12- pm.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 1, 2024, 4:14 pm
