Story
Kylie needs a new home because she is not getting along with the other dog in her home. Her family is very sad to have to rehome her. Here is what they say about this beautiful dog: 'Kylie is an absolutely wonderful dog! She is very loving and attached to all her people. She is not always a fan of service people that come to the house, but any others, if we like them, she likes them. She loves to play ball and will catch it in the air and bring it to you. Kylie is good on walks but sometimes pulls when she heads home. I just stop and make her wait. She loves squeaky toys and Kongs. She is very treat motivated and takes treats extremely well, with just her lips, and will wait for anything if you tell her to 'wait'. She likes to cuddle next to us on the sofa, too. We feed her in her crate and she will go straight to it if you tell her to. She has passed all the obedience training at Petco and passed their Canine Good Citizen Test.' Thank you for your interest in Kylie! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=18246 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Kylie, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Story
Momma Donna is a Kelpie/Heeler mix girl that gave birth 3 months ago to 8 beautiful, wonderful Heeler puppies. This girl is 2 years old and only 42 pounds.  She is amazingly smart and seems to know exactly what you are saying to her.  We think that Momma Donna would be a perfect addition to a home with children who want to play and teach a dog some good tricks and manners.  She is willing to learn anything. Momma Donna is nicely housebroken and ready for a totally great and new life.  Momma Donna just needs a place to belong.   So, do you have a front porch and a hole in your heart ready to be filled by a loving and devoted dog who wants to walk down the road with you every day?   Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in Momma Donna.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
Now here's a young girl who's ready for fun! No need to ask twice--Davina will pack up and travel with you anywhere, anytime! She wears a constant smile on her face because she is just so full of joy! And it's contagious! She will entertain you with her silly antics and loves to do zoomies in the yard (fenced, please)! Naturally, she enjoys her activities because she's only a year old and at 47 pounds, she is a good size. She is fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm negative and will be spayed as soon as possible. As for her breed, the dog scanner lists her as a blend between an Australian Kelpie, Black and Tan Coonhound and Catahoula Leopard Dog. Davina was rescued from the Duplin County shelter in North Carolina in the nick of time and she's such a good save! Davina did well with other dogs when she was tested at the shelter and she adores her humans. Her zest for life is inspiring. If you are interested in sharing life's adventures with this sweet girl, then please email adoptsch@gmail.com for an adoption application or go to the website secondchancehabitat.org to download one.
