Bo’s journey began at a crowded shelter in Alabama, but thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, this handsome guy got the second chance he so richly deserved. Now Bo is safe, thriving, and ready to find a forever home of his very own. Could that be with you? Bo is an Australian Kelpie / Cattle Dog mix (best guess) with a stunning thick black coat accented by an adorable white-speckled chest and paws. He’s as striking as he is sweet! Bo does great with other dogs and loves being part of the fun. True to his breed mix, Bo is a very smart boy and eager to learn. He’s at the perfect age for training and socialization and would thrive with a family excited to continue building his skills. With his intelligence and energy, Bo will make an excellent adventure partner and would do best in an active home that enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, and exploring together.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
