Sugar was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Johnson City, Tennessee because her owner was having financial issues and could no longer care for her. After being rescued by K-9 Lifesavers, Sugar is now ready to find her forever home. Could that be with you? Sugar has a playful nature and infectious energy. Her friendly disposition makes her a perfect companion for other dogs. She's always up for a game of fetch or a fun playdate with her canine friends. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
