I already know a few commands such as "sit" and "speak". I take a bit to warm up to people, but once I do, I am so happy to be your friend! I absolutely LOVE booty scratches and a good tug of war (I absolutely LOVE toys and playing with my people!). I will bring my toy, place it in your lap and wait for you to play with me!!! I am a bit shy and nervous around a lot of dogs and commotion, I'd prefer a quieter home as I am a quiet gal. I do have some separation anxiety, so an apartment might not be a good fit for me. I need some leash training, but I am currently practicing my skills. If you are looking for a smart and sweet companion, fill out an application for me today and you’ll gain a faithful friend for life! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
