Story
She loves to be around people!! She is submissive and ok with most dogs her size and bigger, sometimes can be hot and cold with smaller dogs. She does better with female dogs. Housebroken, food motivated, and trained in the basics, sit, paw, down. No experience at all with small kids and her owner never had her around them either. Can be quite a barker so apartment life is probably not for her unless it`s a work from home situation. She does not like to be crated but she has not chewed anything at all. Low to medium energy. She will play, but calms nicely. Loves to sleep behind your knees, gives kisses and has the cutest submissive smile.

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on November 1st and arrive on November 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!!   Updated: 9/29/24 Dog Name: Scarlett Sex: Female Estimated Breed Mix: Likely a Heeler or Mini Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 7-8 months old Approximate Weight: 21.5 lbs Adoption Fee: $450 Description: Scarlett was found in a small rural Texas town and found herself in a high kill shelter with her days numbered. This gorgeous girl is so sweet and playful, she is ready for adventures with her forever family and getting all the love she deserves! She loves other dogs, kids and has done well around cats!  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. November 3, 2024, 12:58 pm

Story
Rose unfortunately found herself in a high-kill shelter through no fault of her own. She was adopted from the same shelter 2 years ago and then was abandoned at her owner's apartment and their roommates returned her to the shelter once again. She was brought up to Wisconsin on 10/26 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin and is settling into her foster home. About 𝓡𝓞𝓢𝓔: This girl loves life and is SO easy to love. ❤️ - she's housebroken (zero accidents so far) - great energy level. She loves to play but is also content to lay around and sleep. - she's learning our house rules quickly - she knows a few commands like sit and down - shes AMAZING with kids. Not at all scared of their loudness or quick movements. - we're working on leash manners. She'd make an incredible sled dog 😄. But by the end of our walk today she was starting to get the hang of it. - she's just the sweetest love bug and anyone would be so lucky to have her. 🌹𝓡𝓞𝓢𝓔 🌹🐾 Age: 5 years old Breed: Labrador Retriever/Cattle dog mix Gender: female Current Weight: 52 lbs Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Current on vaccinations: ✔️ Spay/neuter: Yes Adoption Fee: $500 If you are interested in adopting, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org We are located out of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and adopt out dogs throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states.
