Story
Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense. Story
3.5 years old (estimated) Spayed female Currently 52 lbs. Calm and friendly Has done well with other dogs No known experience with cats or children Appears housetrained Hi, I’m Josie! I’m a sweet and gentle girl who loves spending time with my people and getting all the scratches. I know how to sit and I’m pretty sure I’m potty trained too! One of my favorite treats is hotdog bites, so learning new tricks should be a breeze for me. I’ve done well with the other dogs I’ve met, and I’m happy to have a relaxed nap or take a nice walk with you. If you’re looking for a laid-back but fun companion, I’d love to join your family! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.November 7, 2024, 6:32 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Archie. I’m still just a baby so I’ve got a lot of puppy energy. I love to play fetch and jump, I can jump very high! I was brought here as a stray and was not reclaimed. I am VERY treat motivated, so I will do just about anything for food. I am also a VERY smart boy. Sometimes dogs make me a little nervous so just give me some time to get used to them.
