Story
Meet Jesse! Jesse came to us after being found as a stray and brought to Cadott Vet Clinic. The clinic held onto Jesse for several weeks while searching for an owner and later trying to find him a home. During that time, they made sure Jesse was neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Unfortunately, a home didn’t come together, so Jesse was transferred to our care. While at the clinic, staff were able to learn quite a bit about Jesse. He appears to do well with other dogs, though slow introductions are recommended. Jesse will chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. He has been around older children (ages 9–11) and has done well with them. Jesse is an active, loving dog who is always on the go. He loves to play ball (as long as it’s larger than a tennis ball), rides well in the car, and is very food motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. Jesse is estimated to be around 4 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a home that can match his energy and give him the love he deserves.

Story
Vinnie came to us as a stray and was never claimed. He’s now neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations, and ready to find a home of his own. It didn’t take long for staff to notice that Vinnie is very focused and driven. He absolutely loves fetch and thrives when he has something to do. Vinnie is the kind of dog who enjoys working alongside his people and using both his body and his brain. Because of his motivation and enthusiasm, Vinnie would do best in a home that enjoys staying active and can provide him with purposeful outlets—activities like herding, agility, structured training, or other dog sports would be a great fit for him. Vinnie's adoption fee is $150

Story
Meet Bandit 🐾 — a 6-month-old cattle dog mix with a heart as big as his adorable ears. Bandit is a sweet, playful pup who truly shines when he’s around others. He loves the companionship of other dogs and is dog, kid, and cat friendly, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He’s already house trained and crate trained, so he’s off to a great start with his manners. This little guy has a nurturing, gentle side and absolutely loves being close to his people. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family. Bandit did experience a couple of seizures early on, which were evaluated by a veterinarian. He is now doing very well on medication, and his seizures are well controlled. His medication will need to be continued long term, but it hasn’t slowed him down one bit—he’s still the happy, loving, playful puppy he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a sweet soul and a lot of love to give, Bandit may be your perfect match. 💙 Apply for Bandit at www.tailsofhopewi.org!
