Story
Meet this cute litter of 4-month-old mixes of Cattle Dog and Heeler! We have 3 boys: Ollie, Owen and Otis. Then we have 3 girls: Octavia, Orianna and Oakley. They weigh between 5-11 pounds now with Oakley being the smallest and Ollie the largest. We expect them to mature to around 45 pounds. Ollie and Owen wear a short tan and white coat while everyone else wears a short black and white ticked coat! These puppies love to play with other dogs and people. They have such a blast running around in the grass and playing with their toys! Their mom is "Koda" who is also available for adoption. Adopt one of these sweet pups and have a loyal companion for life! (ME, 10/21/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 3, 2024, 3:08 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mavis is looking for her PERSON! Mavis is 2+ years old, mini blue heeler, she has the body of a corgi but a tiny bit taller than a corgi, Mavis loves to train and learn new tricks, food driven, loves ball, and amazing with kids. She is slow to warm up to other dogs and needs super slow introductions. Once she is comfortable with the dog she doesn’t have any issue with them but really doesn’t interact with them. She would thrive as an only dog but would do okay with a laid back dog that’s respectful.  Mavis has a good bit of energy but once you tire her out she will relax. She plays wonderfully with my step daughter and is loves every human she meets. She loves to play in the house and kiddie pool. She would thrive doing disc or even dock diving! Prefect hiking or kayaking dog!  Sadly for Mavis she went from spending months in a kennel at the shelter to super restricted at her fosters house due to her not doing well with other dogs. She is potty trained and crate trained. She knows to drop the ball and bring it back, and sit.  Mavis needs a laid back home without other animals to call her own and family that loves her.  she is super velcro! https://fierceloverescue.rescuegroups.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.100% of every adoption fee is used to rescue and care for homeless animals.  Please consider donating to help us more rescue animals. Story
Sweet boy Oliver here to say he is ready to rock and roll his way into your heart! He is 6 years old but has the energy of a pup! He loves kids and would make the bestest family dog. He loves his toys and to run and play in the yard. He is said to be good with cats, but we would still suggest super slow introductions. He is nervous of some dogs and we feel he would do best with a calmer dog that still likes to play a little. A dog test will be required. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.Interested in adopting? Story
Our big orange ball comes complete with it's 7 year old Aussie mix named Reece. Reecie is a very happy go lucky girl who is housebroken, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and addicted to fetching her big orange ball. She will play for hours and hours with it (or any ball). Reece does have a rear limp which our veterinarian has diagnosed as a dislocated hip - the result of an old injury - which is now healed and best left alone now. It does NOT slow her down or impair her mobility in any way. You would not be sorry - this girl is really special. If you would like to offer her a forever home, please submit an application which you can find on our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org)

Story
https://foha.org/pet/doris/ Hi, I'm Doris! In Greek, my name means "gift and I like to think of myself as a gift to those who are lucky enough to be my friend. I am the total package - beautiful, smart, confident, and independent. Some may say I'm a little sassy, but that's just because I have strong opinions and I'm not shy about letting you know how I feel. I take my time choosing my friends, but I am affectionate and playful with those who have earned my trust. My favorite activity is splashing around in my pool when it's hot outside, but I also love going for walks, playing with stuffed toys, and cuddling up in cozy blankets. You don't have to worry about keeping me entertained at every moment, though, as I enjoy having plenty of time and space to do my own thing. An important thing to know about me is that I like to be in charge of my environment and belongings, especially my food, but I am working on getting better at that with people I trust. Because I am still a work-in-progress, however, my ideal home would be with adults only and no other pets. I would also prefer a home without a lot of visitors, since it takes me time to build my relationships. If you are an experienced and patient owner, and are willing to go at my pace with introductions and trust building, I might be just the gift you need in your life. Ask to meet me - we might be the perfect match! Doris is sponsored by: Laura Dove - I hope you find your forever home soon. Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Aggie came from a local shelter along with her pups. Aggie was surrendered because she was VERY PROTECTIVE over her puppies. The former owner had a small child in the home and she was concerned about her toddler's well being. Aggie had always been perfect with her family until her pups were born. Being a protective first time mom is ONLY NATURAL and to be expected, The shelter knew my love for heelers and they knew I would be patient with her. I have handled Aggie extensively and she is a good girl. She would be better with women verses men. She is good with other dogs and I think she would be great on a working farm. That is where she came from, a working farm. She would be best with an active person and she would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. SHE IS A WORKING DOG. She is crate trained. She will go to her new home current on vaccines, heartworm tested(neg), current on preventives, deworming and microchipped. She will be spayed. She will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by my vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all her health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net
