Story
Zeke is a wonderful dog. He has been with us since a puppy and is now 7 years old. He still thinks he is a puppy. He loves to run and play. He will be best in a home with adults only and is not good with other animals although does adapt over time to them. He needs a home with space to run and activities to use his energy.

Story
This fun loving fella is excited to do anything and everything with you. He came to the pound a couple months ago as a stray; he was adopted out and has now found himself in a shelter once again, no fault of his own, they just didn't have time. Unfortunately his lovely coat was sheered off during that time so he would love the warmth of your hugs and kisses.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Indiana, affectionately known as Indy, is a handsome 1-year-old Foxhound/Cattle Dog mix weighing about 50 pounds. With his boundless energy, loving nature, and playful personality, he’s ready to be your most devoted companion! What Indy Loves: Playing tug-of-war and fetch—especially with a tennis ball! Exploring the yard and running off his energy in a safe space. Snuggling up with his favorite humans after a fun day of play. Learning! He’s smart, eager to please, and working hard on his manners. The Perfect Home for Indy: Indy thrives in a calm, structured environment where he’s the only pet. He’s incredibly affectionate with people and loves children, though his enthusiasm might be a bit much for very young kids. A home with a securely fenced yard or a rural setting where he has space to run would be ideal. Special Considerations: Indy has some anxiety and is reactive toward other dogs, so he’ll need a patient and understanding owner willing to continue his training. His current family has been working with a trainer and is even offering to cover the first couple of months of private training for his new home to help him succeed! Indy is fully house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He’s an incredibly loyal dog who just needs the right environment to thrive. Could you be the one to give Indy the safe and loving forever home he deserves? If you’re looking for a devoted companion and are ready to help him become his best self, he’s ready to love you in return!      CVRR is listing this dog as a COURTESY to the actual owner. Story
AUSSIE, very active, unbelievably smart. She’s 4 years old and weighs around 25 lbs Sissy needs to be in a home with an active lifestyle. Aussie’s are incredibly smart dogs that are motivated to learn & please you. If you don’t have experience with this breed, we highly recommend you do your research before applying. Australian Shepherds need to have a job and if they don’t, they will quickly assign themselves one. From Sissy's foster mom: Sissy is a high-energy dog who would thrive in a home with at least one other dog or a highly-active owner who wants to walk her often. She loves going to the dog park and is very sociable. Having a fenced yard would be best since Sissy prefers to run around outside. She loves being brushed and loved on. She is house-broken and scratches at the door to go out. She is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. She is a very fun dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Wyatt is 1 yr old Husky/Australian Shepherd mix with strong breed characteristics. Super friendly but is 60lbs and likes to use his mouth and paws to get attention. He would love a playmate around his size. Currently lives with a cat and 12lb dog who do not appreciate his attention or play style. He is smart, sweet, highly food motivated and occasionally stubborn. He loves to play disc and ball. Fully crate trained, basic obedience training and introduced to agility. He would be best with a good sized yard or someone with an active lifestyle. He has never shown any interest in escaping but does occasionally dig. I am not able to provide the active home he needs. He is a young herding dog and does small nips for affection and attention so I do not recommend a home with children. I travel frequently between SW VA and Southern Ohio and willing to transport him for the right home. Currently enrolled in a 3 week training program to work in manners, greeting and loose leash walking.
