I am the total package - beautiful, smart, confident, and independent. Some may say I'm a little sassy, but that's just because I have strong opinions and I'm not shy about letting you know how I feel. I take my time choosing my friends, but I am affectionate and playful with those who have earned my trust. My favorite activity is splashing around in my pool when it's hot outside, but I also love going for walks, playing with stuffed toys, and cuddling up in cozy blankets. You don't have to worry about keeping me entertained at every moment, though, as I enjoy having plenty of time and space to do my own thing. In the spring of 2023, we got a call about 4 dogs who were in bad shape and living in the woods a couple of hours from me. We set traps and were able to rescue 2 of the 4. We tried and tried to get the other 2, but we were unable to do so. Some of the local people continued to try to get them, as well, but couldn’t. I am still very sad about having to leave them behind. Chester and Chloe were near death when we rescued them. They were starving, their skin was horrible, and of course, they had every known parasite. They are healthy now. Chloe is still very shy, and I feel that she needs a special home with a lot of love, patience and attention! We do not see any aggression in her. She has been at Blue Ribbon Kennels now for 14 months and needs a forever and loving home so badly. She has never had the opportunity to live inside a house and to be part of a family. Chloe is in Mississippi. When adopted, she will come fully vetted and will be transported by Rescue Riders, a very reliable transporter. All of this is included in her adoption fee.

Meet Bonnie - Bonnie is about 1 year old and 50 lbs. Bonnie is the mom to 5 adorable puppies who are now 8 weeks old so it is time for Bonnie to find her forever home. Bonnie is shy and timid and will require another young and confident dog in her forever home to help show her the way. Bonnie is so very sweet and just needs time to adjust to home life. Bonnie loves to cuddle and enjoys lots of pets. Bonnie enjoys racing around the backyard with the resident dogs in her foster home. Bonnie will need a home where someone is around a good portion of the day to help her acclimate. Bonnie will be spayed on Feb. 4th, she is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Robert is a quiet fellow. He is a bit shy, but is easily won over by treats and kind words. He loves cuddling and really enjoys haveing his ears rubbed. Robert likes to explore his environment. He is also crate trained and potty trained. He is working on leash training and is making progress. Robert tried to make friends with the resident cats and but backed off when they hissed at him. He is also doing well with the other dogs in the home. Robery loves to sit next to you on the couch on on your lap if you let him. He did not get the memo that cuddling is anti-heeler.
