Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention, does well with other dogs, and has never been around cats or kids but can be tested. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy. He loves his toys and to run and play in the yard. He is said to be good with cats, but we would still suggest super slow introductions. He is nervous of some dogs and we feel he would do best with a calmer dog that still likes to play a little. A dog test will be required. Story
This story is from Kevins rescuer, the police officer. We got a call about a puppy being tied on a vacant properties porch and possibly someone trespassing on the property. Once I arrived on the property, no one could be located, but the puppy was tied to a porch railing and left with no food or water. I contacted John with Baker Bridge Rescue who agreed to help me, of which I was very grateful. I then secured the pup shortly after. A couple folks floating on the river were very relieved to see the dog being taken care of!. Since getting Kevin home with us, he has gained weight and found that people can be good. He is learning potty training and playing with the other dogs. He loves playing with toys. We transport every other week to a location near you with the most animal friendly transport - Rescue Riders Transport.

Story
In the spring of 2023, we got a call about 4 dogs who were in bad shape and living in the woods a couple of hours from me. We set traps and were able to rescue 2 of the 4. We tried and tried to get the other 2, but we were unable to do so. Some of the local people continued to try to get them, as well, but couldn’t. I am still very sad about having to leave them behind. Chester and Chloe were near death when we rescued them. They were starving, their skin was horrible, and of course, they had every known parasite. They are healthy now. Chloe is still very shy, and I feel that she needs a special home with a lot of love, patience and attention! We do not see any aggression in her. She has been at Blue Ribbon Kennels now for 14 months and needs a forever and loving home so badly. She has never had the opportunity to live inside a house and to be part of a family. Chloe is in Mississippi. When adopted, she will come fully vetted and will be transported by Rescue Riders, a very reliable transporter. All of this is included in her adoption fee.
