Story
In the spring of 2023, we got a call about 4 dogs who were in bad shape and living in the woods a couple of hours from me. We set traps and were able to rescue 2 of the 4. We tried and tried to get the other 2, but we were unable to do so. Some of the local people continued to try to get them, as well, but couldn’t. I am still very sad about having to leave them behind. Chester and Chloe were near death when we rescued them. They were starving, their skin was horrible, and of course, they had every known parasite. They are healthy now. Chloe is still very shy, and I feel that she needs a special home with a lot of love, patience and attention! We do not see any aggression in her. She has been at Blue Ribbon Kennels now for 14 months and needs a forever and loving home so badly. She has never had the opportunity to live inside a house and to be part of a family. Chloe is in Mississippi. When adopted, she will come fully vetted and will be transported by Rescue Riders, a very reliable transporter. All of this is included in her adoption fee.

These two are a fabulous pair of mini-Aussie cattle dogs s and they deserve a wonderful home to make up for their early life. Their original family got them as a gift for a 10-year-old who wasn't at all interested. They are 6-7 years old and until they came into rescue, they never even had names! Despite being ignored and shouted at, they are sweet boys, and they have great dog manners. They are calm, loving, and so grateful for any love and attention. They adore their new toys and were ecstatic when a friend came by with kids. They are housebroken, great with both big and small dogs and have ignored the cats completely. We have given them all their shots, had them neutered and chipped and they are ready to go to their forever home! We believe that they will be good together or separate but if you would like to take both, we will discount the adoption fees to $500 for both.

I am the total package - beautiful, smart, confident, and independent. Some may say I'm a little sassy, but that's just because I have strong opinions and I'm not shy about letting you know how I feel. I take my time choosing my friends, but I am affectionate and playful with those who have earned my trust. My favorite activity is splashing around in my pool when it's hot outside, but I also love going for walks, playing with stuffed toys, and cuddling up in cozy blankets. You don't have to worry about keeping me entertained at every moment, though, as I enjoy having plenty of time and space to do my own thing. An important thing to know about me is that I like to be in charge of my environment and belongings, especially my food, but I am working on getting better at that with people I trust. Because I am still a work-in-progress, however, my ideal home would be with adults only and no other pets. I would also prefer a home without a lot of visitors, since it takes me time to build my relationships. Meet Casper - Casper is about 9 1/2 months old and weighs about 47 lbs. Casper's foster mom did a DNA test and the results are in - Pitbull, German Shepherd, Labrador, Boxer, Husky and Belgian Malinois! What a mix! Casper is a very sweet, charming, intelligent pup who is full of energy:) Casper is a happy pup who will keep you entertained. He is great with other dogs, but we have no idea on cats. Casper is doing great with house training and crate training. Puppies will require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! Casper is up to date on vaccines, Neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee for Casper is $375.00. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check.
