Story
In the spring of 2023, we got a call about 4 dogs who were in bad shape and living in the woods a couple of hours from me. We set traps and were able to rescue 2 of the 4. We tried and tried to get the other 2, but we were unable to do so. Some of the local people continued to try to get them, as well, but couldn’t. I am still very sad about having to leave them behind. Chester and Chloe were near death when we rescued them. They were starving, their skin was horrible, and of course, they had every known parasite. They are healthy now. Chloe is still very shy, and I feel that she needs a special home with a lot of love, patience and attention! We do not see any aggression in her. She has been at Blue Ribbon Kennels now for 14 months and needs a forever and loving home so badly. She has never had the opportunity to live inside a house and to be part of a family. Chloe is in Mississippi. When adopted, she will come fully vetted and will be transported by Rescue Riders, a very reliable transporter. All of this is included in her adoption fee.

Story
These two are a fabulous pair of mini-Aussie cattle dogs s and they deserve a wonderful home to make up for their early life. Their original family got them as a gift for a 10-year-old who wasn't at all interested. They are 6-7 years old and until they came into rescue, they never even had names! Despite being ignored and shouted at, they are sweet boys, and they have great dog manners. They are calm, loving, and so grateful for any love and attention. They adore their new toys and were ecstatic when a friend came by with kids. They are housebroken, great with both big and small dogs and have ignored the cats completely. We have given them all their shots, had them neutered and chipped and they are ready to go to their forever home! We believe that they will be good together or separate but if you would like to take both, we will discount the adoption fees to $500 for both.

Story
Meet Tex, a sweet boy of about 9 months. A true cattle dog!! Their foster parents have been very attentive to him and his sister Charlie. It shows in their behavior and personalities. As you can see below, Tex LOVES water!!!! He thinks he is a fish!!! He loves play pools and if there's not a play pool, he will try to get in a 5gal bucket with his front paws. He's very playful and wants to be around people. Loves people! He has done well with our five dogs and a new barn cat. I would not recommend chickens. Sadly he wants to play with them! He would be wonderful in a family setting... We are only asking for transport cost to PA, RI or other states in which we travel to! These are two super sweet kind dogs and will provide your home with unconditional love and joyous laughter. Please pm us with any questions RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. If you would love to have Water Loving Walker join your family, for the rest of his life, please copy/paste the following link into your browser for an application. HOWEVER, if you are not ready for the commitment a dog needs, and all family members are not on board, please do not proceed to this step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Hi! I'm Walker! I'm a young bog, about one year old, and I've lost my family. They had to move and couldn't take me with them, so, I'm sad about that, but am hoping there's another family out there who will love me and keep me forever. I've been told I'm a good boy, and they also say I'm gorgeous (blush), but that's what they say. I already know how to sit when asked, and take treats and walk nicely on a leash. I LOVE to play in the water and of course, the more toys the better! I'm ready to go on lots of fun adventures with someone, and I get along with most everybody. I know there is a whole world out there for me to learn about, and I'm hoping someone will want to teach me! ******************************* Walker is a purebred Australian Shepherd. His breed is known to be super smart and he will thrive in a home with lots of activity and fun. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard where he can run and get exercise and play. He is sure to excel in training if done correctly. Walker is a lovely, friendly boy who loves the water, is housetrained and is a great car rider and has nice manners. He shared a home with a cat previously. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, dewormings and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.
