Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Aggie came from a local shelter along with her pups. Aggie was surrendered because she was VERY PROTECTIVE over her puppies. The former owner had a small child in the home and she was concerned about her toddler's well being. Aggie had always been perfect with her family until her pups were born. Being a protective first time mom is ONLY NATURAL and to be expected, The shelter knew my love for heelers and they knew I would be patient with her. I have handled Aggie extensively and she is a good girl. She would be better with women verses men. She is good with other dogs and I think she would be great on a working farm. That is where she came from, a working farm. She would be best with an active person and she would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. SHE IS A WORKING DOG. She is crate trained. She will go to her new home current on vaccines, heartworm tested(neg), current on preventives, deworming and microchipped. She will be spayed. She will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by my vet prior to going home.The adopter will get all her health records with adoption. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great.
