Story
We adopted our ACD, Maeve, in September of 2023 when she was 8 weeks old. She is a sweet girl and we love her very much. Unfortunately, we have discovered several people in the home with a dog allergy and are suffering because of it. We are looking for a very loving home that has plenty of space for her to run around. She’s energetic and playful, so does best when she’s running and playing. She is a Blue Heeler and does have herding tendencies especially for wheels moving (she goes nuts) but has successfully learned to not herd the children. While she is great with the kids, she does get possessive of certain toys which has made me nervous for small hands trying to take something away. She doesn’t respond to the adults in the house like that and is very willing to obey commands.

Meet Peppermint: A Sweet Puppy Looking for Love Peppermint came to us from heartbreaking conditions. He was kept in a backyard with his littermates, living in very dirty and filthy surroundings. Despite this tough start, Peppermint is a gentle soul who is ready to leave his past behind and find his forever home. At just 3 months old, Peppermint is still a little shy but we expect him to open up quickly as he adjusts to his new environment. He is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd, with a stunning brown and black dapple coat that will make him stand out wherever he goes. Peppermint is good with kids and other dogs, and while he hasn’t met many cats yet, we believe he would do well with them. He is crate-trained and getting better at adjusting to his new life every day. He is still a puppy, so he will need some work on house training, but with a little patience and love, he will thrive. Peppermint weighs around 14.8 lbs as of 11/13/2024 and will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations but has not been altered yet. We are currently working on finding him a foster home, but if you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet boy in need, please reach out to us! Let’s show Peppermint what it’s like to feel safe, loved, and cherished. He deserves a family that will give him all the warmth and care he’s been missing. 💖 Estimating 30-35 lbs full grown

Meet North: A Brave Pup Ready for a Fresh Start North came to us alongside his brother Peppermint, both rescued from incredibly difficult conditions. They were kept in a backyard with their littermates in filthy, unsafe surroundings. Despite this rough beginning, North is a brave boy with so much love to give, and he’s ready for a fresh start in a home where he’ll be cared for and cherished. At just 3 months old, North is a little shy but warms up quickly with patience and kindness. His stunning coat, a mix of fawn and red, gives him a unique and handsome look. North is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd, and at 17.8 lbs as of 11/13/2024, he is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. North is good with kids and other dogs and will likely do well with cats, though he hasn’t met many yet. He is crate-trained and still working on his house training. Like most puppies, North will need a family who can help him adjust, grow, and thrive. With love and consistency, he will be the loyal companion you've been looking for. We know North’s future is bright, but he needs a loving family to show him the way. If you’re looking for a sweet puppy to welcome into your home, North might be your perfect match. Let’s help North have the life he deserves—a life full of love, play, and happiness. 🐾💖 Estimating 30-35 lbs full grown
