Story

Daisy was purchased from a farm in Kissimmee, Florida and is purebred. I got her in high school, took her to college, and she has been great. As we have begun to grow our family, we found that Daisy does best with kids 4+ years old, but was manageable with younger kids when we had a bigger house and fenced yard, but after downsizing Daisy is too crammed with the two little ones and is not getting the attention she needs to thrive. Daisy is a shadow dog and will go anywhere you want to go. She has a strong personality but is extremely loyal and wants to please. As a working breed Daisy would do best with someone who has an active lifestyle and will exercise her daily. She loves fetch and hikes. Daisy does well on leash and with other dogs as long as you have a calm energy and understand dog behavior. She is nine years old but very healthy and cattle dogs are known to live 16+ years. We just need her to go to a good, loving home before our 2nd baby is born in the next few weeks.

My colors and my dazzling blue eyes and ears that are going to be unpredictable (will they go up or stay down) is what makes everyone stop and turn around to take a look at me. I honestly love everyone and every creature that I meet. God just made me to be a happy boy inside and out. I really like dogs, cats and I adore children. I never meet a stranger that I didn't like. They say that I am a forgiving pup and I have had some hard times and things done to me that most dogs would never forgive. But all that is in the past. Say hello to our very sweet Red Heeler mix boy that we call Bert! This handsome boy is only 6 months old and weighs 27 pounds and was born in a barn in rural Middle Tennessee to a Heeler momma who was barely hanging to life. She was nursed back to health and has found a home already. Without knowing who dad is, we might just say that he is a “Heinz 57” Heeler mix boy that is destined to be a 35 pound dog when fully grown. What you realize about Bery when you meet him is that he is a little shy and follows like a shadow. He is needing some very specific one on one attention and confidence building. He would thrive in a home with lots of loving people and even other pets are welcomed like cats or dogs. He is very accustomed to lots of busy hustle and bustle in the foster home and this is a good thing. He just wants to be by your side and follow you around. We will say up front that he does not have a lot of leash practice. His busy foster mom has been moving in to a new house and she fosters cats and other dogs and stays a little tied up with running her own business from home AND being a busy foster to multiple abandoned cats and dogs. Bert is a healthy boy and is neutered and had all his shots finished and microchipped and dewormings done. Bert loves to play and frolic with his brother Ernie who looks more like a Red Heeler even than Bert. If you know about the Heeler breed, you will read that they are devoted and extremely smart. One of the smartest breeds of dogs on the planet. In his foster home Bert is more outgoing than when in new outside the home situations. That will change with some practice in taking him places. We predict that Bert will be one of those never to be forgotten family pets that will stand out in a family’s mind as one of the best dogs they ever owned. BERT IS HOUSEBROKEN AND CRATE TRAINED….and rides like a champ in the car. We love his brindle red coloring and his very unique and funky ears that may change shape still as he grows. My name is Axel and I am a Blue Heeler mix male that weighs about 28 to 30 lb and I am looking for a fun and active family. Critter Cavalry Rescue has promised me a great life and future that will give me all the love and comforts that a dog deserves. Me and my siblings have been in a Tennessee small town shelter for almost 2 months. We've done pretty good because we're getting decent care but a shelter is not a place for puppies to grow up. I am the kind of boy that will be happy and loving and go on all the great adventures or hikes that you want to go on. I just need someone to give me the opportunity to show what a terrific type of dog I can be. I am good with other dogs and I'll be fine with cats too because I think they're pretty cool. I will need some help on getting into a good house breaking schedule and potty break timeouts. I am a dog that is very adaptable and above all very lovable. I would be great with kids, a young adult couple, a single person, or an empty nest couple. I could be a second or third dog or I could be the only dog. A secretly fenced yard would really be fun, so that I could just hang out for hours on my own. If you read up about the Heeler breed, you will learn that they are very smart and very devoted to their families. We aren't on the go all the time and have chill buttons that certainly can be punched. I would love to hang out and watch some TV with you or stay at your feet while you're reading or working on the computer. I just need exercise everyday to some degree. I'm not a shy dog and I'm not a anxious dog, but I am a good dog to consider as you're forever best friend. This handsome little heeler mix guy is called Megatron aka hoss and he and his siblings were left in a Rubbermaid blue plastic bin outside of a rural shelter in small town Tennessee. This litter of four precious puppies were not healthy at the time, but Critter Cavalry Rescue has made sure that they have gotten the best in vet care and wonderful food. This little guy has a 10-year-old boy to play with and a adult Heeler dog along with his siblings. At just 11 weeks, he is 15 lbs. and robust and looking for adventure every minute of the day. He has the biggest personality and also is the biggest of the litter of four. He's a little puppy that is looking for good play sessions with other dogs and humans and some special chill time to chew on the special bones he is given by his foster mom. Soft beds are definitely inviting for him to cuddle and having you pick him up is a great comfort too. He is smart and of course with that comes the inquisitive nature of investigating everything in the backyard and the house. Megatron likes to know where his people are but he is also very content to find his own comfy spot to chill out. He is being potty trained and leash trained as we speak. Everyday he learns a little more. If you were looking for an active puppy that will be fun to train then Megatron is your guy. He will be a 45 lb adult dog when fully grown.
