Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. She has been waiting for a new home since August, 2024! Meet Millie, a 37-pound bundle of energy and love! This 13-month-old Heeler / Cur mix has a heart as big as her playful spirit. Whether she’s chasing after a ball, splashing in the water, or going on a hike, Millie’s enthusiasm is topnotch. She’s always up for an adventure, but after a day of fun, she’ll happily snooze the rest of the day away—right by your side, of course! Millie is sweet and gentle with everyone she meets—kids, dogs, cats—you name it! She’s a little shy at first, especially around new people and dogs, but with a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loyal and playful companion. Watching her come out of her shell and show off her happy self is truly heartwarming. Millie’s already learning the ropes with commands like “sit,” “come,” and “drop it.” She’s also housetrained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to an active home that loves long walks and playtime. If you’re looking for a small, sweet, and adventurous dog who will be your best friend through thick and thin, Millie is ready to steal your heart! Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, Feb 1st from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. January 28, 2025, 12:33 pm

He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2059610##

Story
Meet Junebug. This girl had a rough start at life. She was found as a stray at about 6 months old and brought to a high kill shelter. She was at the shelter for 4 months before finding herself on the euthanasia list. Luckily for her a foster stepped up to pull her from the shelter and saved her life. Since she wasn't socialized as a young puppy, Junebug can be a little timid when first meeting new people. However after she meets you the second time she becomes your best friend. Junebug has been around cats, and she does great with them! She tries to play with them sometimes but she has never been aggressive at all. She loves other dogs.  There are two other dogs at her foster's house and she loves to run and play with them. She is a submissive dog at first, but once she is comfortable all she wants to do is play. She is crate trained; however, she does cry in the morning when she knows it is time to get up. She is house trained but does need to be let out on a regular basis. She is VERY smart. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake, touch, and spin. She LOVES frozen peanut butter kong balls! She also likes squeaky toys. She rides well in a car and she does great on a harness and leash. She will let you dress her up in cute little outfits as well. She is a sweet girl who deserves to find an amazing family.  <3 We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Most of our adoptable pets are in Houston but all are living with local foster families rather than a shelter, making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. Junebug is scheduled to arrive at a foster in Salem, OR on February 1st. After she arrives in Oregon, she will be available for meet and greets with approved applicants.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2288853##

Story
Meet me Bandit! My name is from Paw Patrol, but I will steal your heart. I'm super easy going, love other dogs, good with cats, and great with kids of all ages too. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and rarely have an accident, so I'm pretty much potty trained. I love to cuddle and play with toys. Treats are a favorite of mine. If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state
