He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2059610##

Story
Casey 480-612-2282Perry is a very loving dog that is starting g to slow down a bit. He is very smart doesn`t like playing a lot of games or with toys. He loves going on walks and is very good on a leash. As he is getting older he doesn`t go as far, maybe a few blocks at a time before he is done. He is potty trained and has only ever had one accident years ago. We don`t know how he is with cats because he hasn`t been around them, but is friendly with other dogs.

Story
Meet Junebug. This girl had a rough start at life. She was found as a stray at about 6 months old and brought to a high kill shelter. She was at the shelter for 4 months before finding herself on the euthanasia list. Luckily for her a foster stepped up to pull her from the shelter and saved her life. Since she wasn't socialized as a young puppy, Junebug can be a little timid when first meeting new people. However after she meets you the second time she becomes your best friend. Junebug has been around cats, and she does great with them! She tries to play with them sometimes but she has never been aggressive at all. She loves other dogs.  There are two other dogs at her foster's house and she loves to run and play with them. She is a submissive dog at first, but once she is comfortable all she wants to do is play. She is crate trained; however, she does cry in the morning when she knows it is time to get up. She is house trained but does need to be let out on a regular basis. She is VERY smart. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake, touch, and spin. She LOVES frozen peanut butter kong balls! She also likes squeaky toys. She rides well in a car and she does great on a harness and leash. She will let you dress her up in cute little outfits as well. She is a sweet girl who deserves to find an amazing family.  <3 We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Most of our adoptable pets are in Houston but all are living with local foster families rather than a shelter, making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. Junebug is scheduled to arrive at a foster in Salem, OR on February 1st. After she arrives in Oregon, she will be available for meet and greets with approved applicants.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2288853##
