Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here’s the 411. I was cruising around the streets in Central Utah when the local Sheriff’s office decided that wasn’t a good thing. There was the old good cop/bad cop routine because I came into their holding pen packin’. I played along and answered their questions. Name: Olive M age: 2 1/2 yrs breed: Heeler/Hound mix (best guess) weight: 42 lbs. I wouldn’t give in to the question of how much I was packing, (I didn’t know!). The Sheriff knew I couldn’t stay and an arrangement was made for me to go to a rescue and that’s how I came to be with Rescue Rovers and my fosters. I’m so glad they took me in! I’m no longer packing pups; I delivered 6 beautiful pups and now I’m looking for my forever home. I’m house trained and walk well on a leash with the right collar. I’m timid with people I haven’t met but once I know & trust you I will be by your side and a good companion. I LOVE to play fetch! Being a submissive dog, a firm but gentle hand will do for me with encouragement to get me to follow your direction. My energy level is med-high. I need a home with children 8 and older because I’m unsure of younger kids; their movements are scary for me. I’m a hound mix and small animals are prey to me so no cats please!! If you think I’m the girl for you, apply to meet me https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi I am Briggs Stratton, nice to meet you! I am a two year old neutered 35 lb red heeler mix.   I am such a happy boy! My parents say I am the perfect dog in every way. I have one flaw that my parents have been helping me work through. It takes me some time to warm up to new people; including my new family. I have been working on my fear with a dog trainer for months. I am so much better, but I am still a work in progress. My trainer even says he is willing to come to my new home and show you everything I have learned. I am ready to showoff for you. I will do best in a dog experienced home with knowledge of the herding breed. An adult only home or home with older kids would be best for me. I have never met a cat, but because of my breed, I would most likely want a cat free home. I am great on leash. I am crate and potty trained. I am fine in my crate at night, but I also do well on my dog bed. I do stay in my crate for 8+ hours a day while my foster pawrents work with no issues. I am e-collar trained, have no food or toy aggression. I do well with other dogs of all sizes , but would also do fine as a solo dog in my new home . I am a pretty mellow guy. My mom would give me a 5 on the energy level scale, but I do occasionally get the zoomies. I really am a sweet dog that wants a forever family. If you have the patience to get to know me, please reach out to Rescue Rovers.   My foster mom loves me and wants to find me the perfect home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi my name is Kiah (Ki-uh),  About Me: 7 mo Male Heeler Mix Shy and reserved I love playing with my fur buddies and playing fetch with my foster mom. I am potty trained to a dog door. I would do well in a home with kids over 8 as I am a shy guy and have only lived with teenagers.  My foster mom thinks my best quality is that I am gentle and smart. While I am shy, once I get to know you I will give you some snuggles, but It's not my favorite thing.  I just need a chance to learn that the world isn't such a scary place. I am the perfect size and just a gentleman.  Won't you give me a chance? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Calling all Grey’s Anatomy (and puppy) fans! Please meet our newest heartthrobs, McDreamy and McSteamy. These handsome boys started their internship about 4 months ago and are ready to move into their residency, and into your hearts   These cattle dog mix puppies should be around 30-40 lbs and have everything that makes puppies delightful. They love to play, snuggle, and play some more (toys are the best!) They love people, dogs, and cats. They are eager to learn and treat and toy motivated. They sleep in their crates and are learning to use the dog door and potty outside. They are pretty good at using puppy pads, but being 10 weeks old, occasionally their aim is a little off  If you’re looking to add a sweet bundle of puppy love to your home, apply to meet them at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 2, 2025, 3:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Zannie! The most adorable pocket sized little heeler, she’s about 20 lbs and approximately a year and a half old. She is full of life and love, she is always down for some exercise, but she also loves to take a chill cuddle time with you. She’s still learning how fun toys can be And I think without being in a big pack of foster dogs and the chance to get it more she could make a fun fetch dog. Zannie is FULLY DEAF. She is also very engaged, loving, and responsive with her human. She is completely e-collar trained for recall, and knows / is learning hand signals for sit and stay. She is crate trained and has good house manners! She really looks at you a lot to see what she is supposed to be doing or looks at her fellow dog buddies for guidance. They have taught herso much and have really increased her self-confidence, and just the day-to-day routine. She’s a little wiggle butt with the cutest markings and striking eyes. Zannie has been around kids and shows no aggression or nippyness, etc for the breed. Due to the fact she can be surprised easily, we think older kids would be better...though it’s hard to say for sure because she is sooo sweet. She is also amazing with other dogs and because of her deafness we think a family with another dog or two would be best for her. She loves to sun bathe and would love a yard . Or to be your “small dog “in a big package apartment dog with the right exercise. She doesn’t bark and loves her crate to sleep in. Unless you want to start bed training her . She would love that too! This little girl is finally ready after a lot of thought and training. You’re going to love her!   Apply to meet Zannie at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 3, 2025, 6:54 pm
