Story
Brisko is almost 2 years and weighs about 45 lbs. She is a very energetic and intelligent dog. House and crate trained. She goes in and out of her crate throughout the day and sleeps in it overnight without issues. When inside the house, she rings the bell at our backdoor to let us know when she wants to go outside. She enjoys walks/hikes, car rides and especially loves the park. When walked on a leash, there is typically no issue with pulling. I often ride my bike while holding her and her sister on a leash! She listens to commands extremely well. When outside, she will not come inside the house without permission to enter. She is really good at being still and obedient during grooming time as I have had no issues doing these things myself - including trimming and grinding her nails. She is part of a bonded pair, so it would be great if both were considered together, but that's not mandatory.

Story
***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** The biggest cuddle bug award goes to our very own Lady! Lady was originally found living in an abandoned building with another dog and her two puppies. When she first came to our facility Lady was shy and scared. Within a few days, though, she opened up and became excited to see us walk by her kennel. Once Lady is comfortable with you she will be the biggest cuddle bug! She might lean against your leg, she might sit on your lap, or she might even sit on your shoulders. Lady has a fun side to her too and loves to run around with the "zoomies". She will need love and patience but once she trusts you Lady will be the best companion ever. Are willing to help her find a forever home? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** If you want someone excited to see you everyday then this pup is the one for you. Pony had been living on the streets alongside two of our other residents, Bahia and Blackie, for months. We received all three dogs from a local shelter and immediately went into action for medical care and socialization. Pony in particular arrived to us with deep wounds from living on the streets, but luckily he did not let his past affect him. At first he was timid, but within a few days Pony began to open up to us. He will wiggle in happiness when you walk up to his kennel, he will happily lay down next to you, and he will gently nudge your hand for pets. Pony might require some patience to warm up to you but once he does he is the most loving dog that you could ever have. Are you ready to adopt this cheerful pup? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Patch was found as a stray and one of our awesome vet partners treated him and asked us to take him in as he is a great boy! We asked two trainers to independently assess him and he passed with FLYING COLORS.  He is gentle, easy to handle, friendly to everyone.  All of them.   He is a typical Texas lab or maybe he is a Texas dalmatian?  Whatever he is, he is HANDSOME and stands out in any crowd.  November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm

Story
Meet Sunset, a stunning Red Heeler with a passion for both adventure and relaxation. Sunset thrives on running, playing, and then curling up for some quality cuddle time on the couch. As a true Heeler, she needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation to stay happy and healthy. While Sunset is affectionate and loyal, her excitement can sometimes get the better of her, especially around toys, which has led to occasional biting incidents. Because of this, she is best suited for a home without children under 16. Sunset is still working on greeting new people and children in a calm and appropriate way. She will thrive with a dog-experienced family that understands her needs and can manage her behaviors appropriately. If you’re searching for an active partner for hiking, running, and playtime, who also knows how to relax by your side, Sunset could be the perfect match!Est. DOB: 10/24/23 48 lbs. AAR does not transport for adoption.

Story
My name is Goofy and it couldn't be more fitting! I am, in fact, a goofball but I'm also a super smart guy with a big ole smile and ears who have a mind of their own. I am house trained, kennel trained (in fact, I feel safest eating my meals in my crate and won't feel threatened it's going to be taken from me), and know lots of commands- sit, wait, paw, kennel, down, drop it, and I play a great game of fetch. My favorite snacks are cold cucumbers! I love the kids in my foster homes and have learned to refrain from jumping on my people except when I'm just too excited to hold it in. I love playing with other dogs and would love a furry friend in my FURever home. No old, grouchy dogs, because I'm not great at not begging them to play, but I get along well with all sizes. Cats are like balls to me and I want to chase and fetch them, so it's best the home doesn't have any. I'm super friendly and looooove to be loved on so if your hands are free for endless pets, use them to submit an application to meet me!

Story
Hey there! Bruno here. After being abandoned in a shopping center, I was welcomed with open arms into my loving foster home. I'm an energetic guy who loves playing with other smaller dogs, especially the girlies. I've quickly shown how smart I am, too! I potty outside like I've learned from my furry friends and I'm even kennel-trained, too. Kids and cats are okay in my book, too! If you like my dreamy eyes and lovely coat, you should promptly apply to meet me! C'mon, let's be pals!
