Story
Hey there!  I'm Emmett.  It's so nice to meet you.  I am a super friendly fun loving little guy that is looking for a forever family of my very own.  I love to play with my foster pup friends, big and small, and my foster family.  I enjoy toys and running all over.  I am looking for an active home that will keep me busy as I can get bored easily (puppy nature).  I am crate trained and still working on potty trainihng as I am still just a baby.  My adoption fee is $250 locally and $450 if transported.  This fee includes my neuter, all age appropriate vaccines and a microchip.  For more information on whether I'd be a fit for your family, please email bellasblessingsrescue@gmail.com ##2099332##

Story
Hi I'm Holly. I am a 5 year old cattle dog/terrier mix. I am potty trained and crate trained. I know sit, lay down, stay, come, "crate up" and will wait for a command to eat. I am a smart girl who is always ready for nose work or enrichment activities. I would be great with an active family who can take me on outdoor adventures and keep me mentally stimulated. You can think of me as a typical teenager who is a bit of a snob. I get along with dogs of all sizes...however, I like my space respected. I like to hang out in my room (crate) and I don't really like to share my things with my fur siblings. My love languages are: words of affirmation and receiving gifts.  Receiving Gifts: My snuffle mat, my room, and my food bowl are mine, and I don't like to share. I got it from my human and its sentimental to me. I will share a water bowl with you though. Words of Affirmation: I will co-mingle with other dogs, but I will be more attentive to the human. When a treat is given with multiple dogs around, I will pay attention to you until you give me a command. I just love it when I get positive praise or a compliment. . She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX or she can be transported out of state for $550 (includes health certificate and transport fee).November 30, 2024, 9:35 am

Story
From Chip's foster mom: We helped take care of Bea’s litter as they were growing up, and my son and I often referred to the sable boys as “The Chipmunks”. So when Busy joined us - and his two sisters we had adopted - we started calling him Chip! Chip was born May 6, 2024. He is 50% Australian Cattle Dog, 25% collie and 25% a mix of other breeds. He is up to date on vaccines, HW negative and soon to be neutered and weighs around 40 lbs. Chip is a sweet, sensitive soul. It’s hard not to adopt him ourselves! He takes some time to warm up, but once he knows he is safe, he’s in your arms in no time. He enjoys sitting with us on the back porch and watching the other dogs play, observing the chickens, ducks, and goats in the back of the property, and taking it all in. He’ll also climb in our laps on the couch. He has been started on loose leash walking and basic manners. He is very food motivated, and loves to carry around toys. Chip is willing to try new things, with lots of encouragement and a slow, steady pace. He is crate trained, and only takes a short time to settle in. He does need to eat his dinner out of a slow feeder bowl otherwise he is quite the fast eater! He has started getting accustomed to having his nails dremeled when on the grooming table. Chip would do best in a home with a confident but friendly and mild mannered dog (male or female), or be the only dog. He has a tendency to want all of the attention to himself and has occasionally let the other dogs in his foster home know that he wants left alone while he gets attention. I would not suggest he be around cats or small animals, as he has shown quite an interest in our Chinchilla and the outdoor cats. I would recommend him with kids over 10, as he will jump to get attention (we’re still working on that!) and his nervousness in new situations. When he gets nervous he just belly flops or “puts on the brakes”. He is motivated to move by positive words and especially tidbits of food. Chip doesn’t love car rides since he still gets a little carsick, but if his human is going - I’m sure he’d be happy to tag along to quiet places. Chip is looking forward to settling in with his lifelong family! Will this sweetheart be your match? Apply at HoustonCollieRescue.org

Story
Meet Esther, a vibrant, adult dog with a personality that will light up your life. She`s playful and energetic, always ready to embark on a new adventure or play a fun game. She weighs 46 pounds and likes agility, car rides, running, tugging, toys, walks, chase and wrestling. Esther is also smart and curious, always eager to learn new tricks or explore new environments. She knows the sit, stay, no, down, and fist bump commands. But don`t let her energy fool you - she`s also a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than to curl up with her favorite human. She never wants to be alone and has had separation anxiety in the past. She`s housetrained and leash trained, making her as easy fit for your home. Her protective nature makes her a loyal companion, always ready to stand by your side. Esther`s excitable and affectionate nature makes her a lovable friend who`s always there to brighten your day. She`s a bit jumpy and has some food aggression, so she needs a loving owner who can guide her. She can be picky about her canine companions and is also territorial, preferring her own space at times. You`ll need to bring your dog to meet her as she seems to prefer more laid-back docile canines. She has no experience with children but will need to live with kids at least nine years old because of her protectiveness of her food. Despite these quirks, Esther`s love and loyalty make her a wonderful companion. Adopt Esther and experience the joy of unconditional love. (tw 11/28/2024)

Story
This is Booger. She is a 1.5 year old Australian shepherd mix with the most beautiful eyes. She loves car rides, toys, treats, and playing in water. She will jump in the tub with you if you give her the opportunity. She loves any kind of scratches she can get (she's very persuasive), guarding under your desk using your feet as a pillow, and most of all, sitting in your lap on the couch to watch a movie. She's incredibly smart and learns new tricks quickly. She does well on a leash with a harness. She's potty trained but will need to be let out regularly. She loves to chase the squirrels up the tree and protect the yard. She needs to go to a home without other dogs or cats. She's timid at first, but with treats warms up easily. I am not sure how she is around kids. If you're interested, please let me know. I want her to go to the best home for her, and unfortunately, I can not provide that as I have other dogs. If you open your home up to her, she will love and protect your family with everything she has. I would love updates if you're willing to provide them. She's a very special dog and deserves the right home that can bring out her best. She is currently not spayed, but I do have an appointment booked for her. She will also have her rabbies shot then. She has received the 10-way vaccine from TSC, but she is due for her reup. I'm willing to drive to meet you if you are further away. Please feel free to ask me any questions or if you have any concerns.

Tooter here is always ready to get the party started! She’s tons of fun and brings such good energy. She has a way of making everyone feel special, just because she’s always so excited to see you. She’s a super friendly girl! She loves any and all attention. Toys are a great love of hers. Se likes to check them all out and has a blast playing with them – even if she’s playing with them by herself. She loves it best if you have time to play with her though. Tooter has a lot of puppy left in her personality. She’s easily excited and very energetic. She’s all about running around and playing!Tooter and her siblings (Gustavo A048024, Scooter A048022, and Dexter A048023) have been looking for love since 10/31/24.
