Story
Hi! I'm Salsa! I'm an approximately 6 month old, female, Queensland Heeler mix who weighs 41lbs. I was surrendered by my finder on 01/06/2025 because they could not keep me. I was part of a litter of 6 puppies that was found and now it is just me and my sister. I love attention and love to be praised! I am a good girl looking for a furr ever home. I have grown up around other dogs but if you have one in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I love to run and play and love kids. I play hard but nap even harder. As soon as I wear myself out during play time, you can find me snoozing on something comfy. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters! Meet and greets are by approved application. Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch with next steps!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. January 31, 2025, 6:15 pm

Story
Meet Littlefoot! This little tripod is one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet. She was found as a stray along with her puppies in South Texas a few months ago. Since rescuing her, we have gotten her fully vetted which included amputating her front limb, as she was born with a deformity that was causing her some pain. She’s a little over a year old, good with dogs, but prefers a mellow companion. She’s extremely sweet with people and would like to be a cuddle partner for hours on end. She’s also potty trained and crate trained. She has not been cat tested so unfortunately, we do not know how she would do with kitties. Because Littlefoot was a "street dog" the first year of her life, new things can be scary at first. So we will require a patient leader that can teach her that the world is not a scary place. Our trainer will be happy to continue to work with her on confidence building once she enters into your home, as all of our pups come with 3 free at home sessions with one of our trainers. If this little bundle of energy and love, sounds like the perfect match for you, please visit the link and fill out an adoption application so that we can schedule a phone call to chat about her . Please note we do not ship dogs out of state. If you’re currently not in the Dallas Fort Worth area, you will have to come to Dallas to meet her.

Hi there, I'm Finn! I'm just a tiny tornado of fun, only 3 months old, and I'm a blue heeler. My days are filled with chasing my tail, gnawing on squeaky toys, and falling asleep in the most awkward positions. I've got energy to spare, but I'm also a big fan of cuddle time. I'm a lovable goofball, always ready to make you laugh with my silly antics. I'm looking for a forever home where I can grow, play, and love. Adopting me means a lifetime of wet-nosed kisses, tail wags, and endless love. I promise, you won't regret it! Please call 972-524-4709 with any other questions or if you would like more information. Story
Breezy is an almost 5 year old love bug! I adopted him when he was 1 years old and have had him since. My schedule has gotten a lot busier than anticipated and I am unable to keep him due to how much I am away. He would be perfect in a home with older or no kids and no other pets preferably. Breezy has not been around small children enough to understand how to be gentle with them. He also loves to go outside, so a house with a yard is best. Breezy is amazing! I am truly saddened to have to do this, but I understand that it is what is best as he deserves so much more than I can give him currently. He is completely house and crate trained though he does not enjoy the crate, so he is left out to roam free with no issues. I have never had an issue with him chewing shoes or anything of the sort. Breezy is also very easily trained and knows a few tricks! All of his shots are up to date except his rabies vaccine.

Story
I am a %100 Disabled American Veteran. I had a Service Dog for 10 years. He passed away on Christmas Eve. I have a puppy that is training to do his job. I have some serious health issues and I have a total of 5 dogs. Shad O is way too high energy for me and it is disrupting my health issues and causing me a hard time with training the puppy. Shad O is a great dog. He loves to cuddle. He is great with kids, other dogs, cat curious. He is very energetic and needs a home with another dog or kids so that his energy needs get met. I was hoping that he goes with the service dog program that gave me this website. Shad O is 11 months old, neutered and shots updated and microchipped. He is house trained and potty trained. He really needs a home ASAP, as I don't know how much longer I will be able to physically and mentally be able to keep him

Story
These beauties were abandoned near my mom's house and my mom does not have time to care for her due to her work schedule nor the financial capacity to support her. I do not live near my mom and we cannot give her the time and care she deserves. We love animals but we also want what is best for them. They are have very sweet demeanors and play well together. They do not have to be adopted together. There is a separate application for each of them. We do not want to accept any fee or compensation. We only want to find her a nice home.

Story
Hank is awesome! He is very smart, watches your eyes, and easy to train. He is mellow but pleasant. He's more interested and curious than territorial. He has an overbite but it is aestetic only... if you're looking for it! He chews, plays, eats as a dog without one. He enoys playing with children and is a great laid back buddy. He is going to be a great companion dog, for sure!

Story
Hi! I'm Pumba! I'm an approximately 8 month old, male, Aussie/Heeler mix who weighs about 33 lbs. I was found in the Caruth Subdivision by Phelps Lake on 01/05/2025 and never reclaimed. I came in with my buddy Timon, but if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I am a young guy and will need a family who has the patience to train me to be the best family companion I can be! I am currently learning to walk on a leash and basic commands. I will need help with house training and crate training. I LOVE GRUB! Food is my vice and I love all kinds. Because food is my ultimate passion, I will need my own space to be fed. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date, and heartworm negative. If you have no worries and are looking for a new buddy, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
