Hey there! I`m Muffin! I am a 10 month old, 38 pound, female blue heeler. I am a sweet, friendly, and loving girl. I love meeting new people and will happily roll over so they can give me lots of belly rubs. I am a playful and active gal, I love to run around and pay. I will sit when told but I`m still working on stay, I just get too excited to sit still. I get along with other dogs and would probably make a great playmate. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.

Prince was living at a used Auto Car Lot in a very bad area. He slept under cars to stay cool and would wander off when people showed up and come back at night to go under a vehicle. Luna was at a rural shelter with her baby, Luz. They had little chance of getting out much less together! We had a sweet lady email us asking if she could foster them and save them! Luna left the shelter super scared and was not treated well in her past life we don't think. Now that she is out and safe she is playing with a ball and giving kisses. Chili is a heeler mix who was found wandering out and about by a Good Samaritan. When this kind soul offered Chili a ride, she never looked back and away they went! Chili's new friend really wanted to keep Chili, but her dog had other ideas and it soon became clear that Chili would do better in another home. Chili is microchipped and attempts were made to contact her original owner, but that person never responded. We suspect that's because Chili is deaf. However, she's also smart as a whip and eager to please. Her foster mom has been able to teach Chili many commands using sign language and would be happy to share what she knows with any potential adopter. Chili is playful and silly and loving and would be a great addition to any family that has a little time and patience to continue her training. She's been around lots of older kids at a riding stable, where she spends her days, and has been well-mannered with all of them. She has a couple of dog buddies, too, but kitties aren't her thing.
