Story
Betty is a lovable 2.5 year old, 40-lb Red Heeler mix with a perfect blend of playful energy and sweet, snuggly charm. She adores her people, so expect a warm (and very excited!) greeting when you walk through the door! This girl loves to wrestle and chase her foster sister, and her zoomies are a joy to watch. But she also knows how to settle down and relax, making her an easy companion for both active moments and quiet evenings. Betty enjoys walks, treats, and belly rubs—basically, anything that involves being near her humans. She gets along with most dogs, but may be a little too playful for small breed, older, or laid-back dogs. Betty would be just as happy as an only dog, so she could get all of her people's attention, as long as she gets enough exercise. She is potty trained and sleeps through the night on a cozy bed near her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and spirited companion, Betty is ready to steal your heart. Fill out an application to meet her and see for yourself!

Story
Trenton is a 2-year-old neutered male Heeler/Hound mix with handsome red and white coloring and beautiful speckling that makes him just as unique as his personality. He came from a situation where there were many dogs and limited positive human interaction, so he is still learning how to build confidence and trust with people.Trenton has already made great progress and continues to improve every day. He is starting to seek out human affection more and more, showing just how much he wants to connect—he just needs a little time and patience to fully come out of his shell. Once he feels safe, he has the potential to form a strong and loyal bond with his people. He is doing much better on a leash and has really begun to enjoy going for walks. Walks are becoming a great way for him to build confidence and explore the world at his own pace. He is also very treat-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for training with positive reinforcement.Trenton would do best in a calm home without young children, where the environment is quiet and predictable so he can continue to gain confidence. When meeting other dogs on leash, he has seemed okay with gentle, respectful dogs, but he can show some barrier reactivity and may be selective about his canine companions. Because of this, a meet and greet will be required for any dogs already in the home.Trenton would likely thrive in a house with a secure yard where he can safely explore, stretch his legs, and continue building confidence at his own pace. With the right patient and understanding family, Trenton has all the potential to blossom into a devoted, affectionate companion.

Story
Maple came to Humane Tomorrow when she was only one week old, along with her Mom and nine littermates. She is now 10 weeks old and ready to be adopted! Maple was born without a front left paw, but foster mom says that doesn't slow her down much. She loves to toss her toys up in the air and catch them, and she enjoys running around the backyard. She gets along with the other dogs and the cat in her foster home. Maple is super sweet. She will follow foster mom around the house and take naps in her lap. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is working on potty training. If you are looking for a running or walking partner, she would love to ride along in a stroller! Maple is a sweet, playful, cuddly puppy that is ready for her forever home. Before you fall in love and apply, please note that Olive will probably weigh around 70 pounds when full grown. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Belle is a beautiful and charming mini-Aussie and Corgi mix. She's 3 years old and weighs just 16 pounds. This confident, social little girl loves meeting new people and will often greet them by popping up on her hind legs to say Hello. She’s very affectionate and loves to give kisses to her favorite people. Her sweetest moment is her signature “Belle hug” when she gently drapes her neck over yours and melts into you. Belle is the typical play hard, sleep hard kind of dog. She has a playful prey drive and will chase birds, squirrels, and rabbits. She absolutely loves being outside and is convinced that one day she will catch that squirrel! Belle is incredibly athletic and runs like a tiny gazelle. She would love to have a securely fenced yard in her forever home for playtime and fetching the ball. Belle is crate trained and completely house trained. She loves long walks and rides great in the car. Belle is very affectionate, but she can be protective of her food and her favorite people. She would do best in a home with an experienced owner who can continue her training, and provide positive reinforcement and boundaries. Belle would be happiest as the only pet so that she can have all the attention for herself. Story
G'day mates! My name is Ollie, and I'm four months old and weigh 13 lbs. I will be a perfect medium sized dog when I grow up. No one knows for sure, but I look a lot like an Australian Shepherd/Australian Kelpie mix. I was hit by a car and a bone in my pelvis was broken. CRIKEY, that hurt! I've been on crate rest for about two months, and I'm all healed up, but my new people should limit my activity for a couple of months. I can still do some running and playing, just no jumping or rough play quite yet. I love toys, chew toys, and sticks. I'm trying to give up sticks since foster mom says that's not an ideal source of fiber. I would love to have a doggie playmate in my new home, but I have puppy energy and will probably annoy laid-back dogs. I love everyone, but foster mom says no kids under 10 because I still do the puppy mouthing thing. I'll outgrow that habit, and it's easy to distract me with a toy, but it's better to be on the safe side for now. I sleep through the night in my crate, but I tend to bark when left in a crate during the day. I eventually settle down, but no apartments for me since I may annoy the neighbors. Due to my injury, I haven't walked on leash yet, but I'm ready, willing, and able to learn now. C'mon all you Sheilas and Blokes, submit your application to adopt me, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
