Story
Pickles is a 5 month old, 20 lb Blue Heeler mix. He is just the cutest thing with her black patch over one eye and a sprinkling of black speckles. Pickles a is playful, smart, curious, cuddly, tail-wagging puppy. He gets along with all of his littermates as well as the resident dogs in her foster home. Like all puppies, he will need some training, supervision, good sturdy toys, and lots of cuddles and attention. Since Pickles still has his sharp little baby teeth, we are recommending no kids under the age of 6. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Radley is the true definition of RAD! You remember that cute guy in high school that was also super cool but actually nice? That's Radley. His DNA results are in, and he is mostly Cattle Dog and Beagle mix. He is gentle, sweet and loves to be held on his back and get his belly scratched. He's very chill and has a go with the flow attitude. He loves human attention and will come get kisses from you any chance he can get. He also gets along great with his siblings. He's that type of dog that will just get along with everyone. He's a bit shy when he first meets strangers but warms up quickly once he realizes you're one of the good guys. He is doing a great job at potty training and if you give him yummy treats he sits like a champ! He would do great with a family that has kids over the age of 6 and would love to find his forever snuggle buddies!

Jack is a big ole loveable lug who isn't sure how to handle his big goofy body yet! He is as sweet as his face and has the kindest almond eyes. He is a big boy and is the biggest of the litter (but he's still only 24 lbs). He absolutely adores belly scratches, playing with his momma dog and his siblings. He loves, loves, loves being outside. He is doing a great job with potty training even though he's still a puppy. He's a smart boy that has already learned to sit for treats and will easily learn more commands. He will be a great protector for his new family as he will alert you if he sense danger. He is good with kids over the age of 5. He will make a great addition to any family that wants a big, sweet, loveable boy!

Story
Hello I'm Radar! Everyone always talks about my ears! I am a young adult and have some puppy energy. I love to chew on toys and I may need some help learning what is okay to gnaw on. I love to play with dogs and I love people! I would do best in a home with other dog friends to play with. I have spent most of my puppy life in a shelter so I am working on house training. I enjoy my crate and love to snack on some frozen kongs while you are out. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Radar is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
Vienna is a gentle, sweet and loving blue heeler mix. She loves to snuggle at your feet and look lovingly into your eyes. She is great with other dogs but doesn’t want to play with them; if a dog is being too energetic in her face she does let them know with a nice little rumble. She is appropriately 6 years old. When found, Vienna had been living on the streets in rural Louisiana for over a year. Despite that difficult life, she is good with (older) children, though we’re unsure how she’ll respond to cats. She likes to go on short walks in the park and really enjoys watching other dogs play, even though she has no interest in joining them!
