Story
Smart, loyal young cattle dog looking for an experienced adult home. Great with adults and affectionate with his family. He is playful with children he knows well but can be reactive around unfamiliar children, so he will do best in a home without frequent young visitors. Needs structure, consistent training, and a calm environment. No bite history. Active homes, working homes, or herding-experienced adopters are ideal.

Story
Jack is a very good boy. My father dropped him on me when he was just a puppy cause he thought I needed a dog. Since then I’ve done the best I could for him. He deserves the best. I cannot meet what his needs. He is a very active dog that does require a lot of attention and care. I’ve had some behavioral issues with him chasing and killing my ducks and chickens, chasing and cornering my cats, and being aggressive when I try to set boundaries. He is very opportunistic and does what he can to get what he wants, that includes showing teeth, growling and barking. My sister that I live with has become very scared of him. He just came from training four days ago (as of 1/8/26) but his behavior at home has regressed significantly. He needs someone much more experienced, knowledgeable, and prepared than I am. He has bit me once a month ago at the vet clinic I work at while he was heavily sedated cause I tried to muzzle him. I do love this baby with everything I have but I cannot keep him.
