Story
Hi, I am Tomoe Gozen!!  I have been waiting so patiently for a forever home.  I am super sweet and loving.  I am one smart cookie and figure things out quickly.  I don't know if you remember the story of the Warrior babies with Zena, our mom??  We were owner surrendered to the city where my mom, Zena, had bite marks on her ears and neck.  There was no food or water for her in the yard.  You could see everyone of her ribs and her spine!!  My momma was giving everything she had for us seven puppies.  We were three weeks old at that time.  The city asked ELR to please take all of us and they arranged for all of us to get out and start working on getting momma healthy.  In our foster home, we had a huge yard to play in and even a pond.  I love water!!  They think I might be part heeler and labrador.  I was the first one of the puppies to climb the puppy enclosure and jump off the deck.  I was an adventurer then and I still am.  I was adopted with my sister, Artemisia, to a wonderful family.  They came on some hard times and recently brought us back to ELR.  They did love us and message ELR everyday to check on us.  We are back at our old foster home and it is familiar to us again.  I am know how to jump onto the deck from the ground now.  I am a medium sized dog with lots of love to give a family.  I am good with cats and dogs.  I do like to sit in your lap and give lots of kisses. ##1336500##

Story
Hi, I am Astro! I am acattle dogof great behavior in many regards. My sister, Piper, and Iare offered up as a pair because they are very fond of each other and as such they can play independently with each other without concern or monitoring. They are perfectly healthy, about 3 years of age, fixed and get very frequent outings from the house. The often outings are cornerstone to their fine behavior and they would need the same in an adopters home. Living limitations for them would be not in a home of exuberant kids or sharp and loud sounds. Both will be very afraid of fireworks and less so with thunder unless the thunder is very considerable. Piper occasionally digs and Astro very infrequently. They have been around dozens of dogs at the dog park without scuffling incidents, but they both can be wary of some unknown dogs for a bit. They car ride very well and do not bark at strangers with windows open as they wait for my return from fast food dining. They come to me in open field running with a whistle or name call. The field runs let them thoroughly exercise while I make an extended walk. ##1596126##
