Story
**Currently fostered in Conroe Texas** Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has a ton of energy and he loves to run and play. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Although, make sure it isn't a tennis ball or you'll find them in pieces! Barkley clearly was a dog that wasn't well socialized with others prior to coming into rescue. So far, he has done well with large female dogs, but he clearly lacks social skills. He does not like male dogs, and smaller dogs he is much to pushy for. He very clearly wants to be friendly, but struggles due to a lack of social skills. We believe with continued socialization with healthy, playful dogs will yield continued success with him! We suggest no cats though since he has a prey drive and goes after the squirrels and chickens. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. While he still struggles with impulse control, he has continued to show great results. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Story
Boogie was found wandering the woods. He is approximately 2 years old. He's neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is house trained, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs. He is playful and energetic. He knows basic commands such as sit and come. He enjoys playing fetch. He walks well on a leash. He does well off leash when walking in the woods and likes to stay by his people. He has a lot of energy and would be best suited for an active family. When not playing he prefers to be close to his people. He has a high prey drive around smaller mammals and birds such as squirrels and chickens when not supervised but appears to get along well with our cat. He does have herding instincts and could be cultivated into a working dog. He is heartworm positive but has been on the Moxy/Doxy cycle for a few months and will be rechecked soon and doesn't show any impairments from it.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Honey is a 5 months old beautiful puppyy that we think is a mix of Austrailian Cattle Dog and Jack Russell.  She loves to run and play with other dogs.  She is calm and obedient around cats. Honey in her previous life of crime… was found stealing bread at the Dollar General, and the doggie police were on their way!  Luck was with her as her foster mom quickly loaded up her and her brother into the getaway car. She’s now rehabilitated and attending Puppy Prep School at Petco while waiting on her new forever family to find her.  She loves to cuddle with the other dogs in her foster home and there is no such thing as to close.  Be sure and check out her pictures below to see her cuddling with them.  She was one of the stars at our Doggies & Divas event on October 7th and won the Chippendogs contest getting the most dollar bills on her dance around the tables. We have a few pictures below of her modeling a couple of her outfits at the event.  If you think sweet little Honey is a good match for you please click on the Adoption Application icon above and fill it out so we can set up a time for you to come and meet Honey in person to see if she is a good match for you.  Thank you for considering one of our rescue pets.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 3:34 pm

Story
Brandy Beth is a 6 year old, Australian cattle dog that weights about 25 lbs. She is a happy dog who loves toys, other dogs, treats, going on walks, and is crate trained and house trained. Brandy loves her daily walks around the neighborhood and she does well on walks with another dog. She would probably do best with dogs her size or larger as she sometimes does not know her size and can scare the little ones until they get used to her. She will play chase with any dog that wants to play in her foster mom's backyard. However, she does need to be properly introduced to dogs and to people plus given time to adapt. Brandy is very anxious when meeting new people and will growl which can be quite scary. But if you earn her trust, she will be your best friend. Once she realizes you are her family, she is snuggly and playful. This may take a couple weeks. Her foster mom is happy to help with the transition. She would probably do best with a single adult or young senior who is an experienced dog owner. She would love a home where she would get butt and ear scratches and belly rubs. She looks so proud when she carries around her toys which are a must. Brandy Beth's adoption fee is waived to an appropriate, experienced home. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
This pup has a lot of heart! Maverick and his brother were the only survivors of 11 puppies born to an irresponsible owner. This person let his Australian Shepherd get pregnant and when mama stopped allowing them to nurse at 4 weeks, did nothing to bottle feed them or shelter them from the hot Texas summer. Luckily a good samaritan took these two in when they found out what happened. We don't know what kind of dog dad was, so these pup are Aussie mixes with full tails but will likely be around Aussie sized when full grown and have the Aussie spirit and zest for life. Before going to their forever homes, they will be dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and receive monthly flea, tick & heartworm prevention.
