Story
**Killeen TX** Saffie is a small girl and so very very soft, a fact you notice immediately because she loves to snuggle. She is a very playful dog, good in a crate, likes her squeaky toys and enjoys the kiddy pool also. She's shown here playing with her foster brother and just having a good time. Saffie is about a year old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and ready for a forever family. We don't know how she is with cats and do not generally recommend heelers be adopted to homes that have them. To potentially meet or adopt Saffie please fill out an application on our website irescuehomelesspets dot org under the adopt tab.

Story
Sir is a very sweet and well mannered boy. He sits on command and is doing well with house training. Walks well on and off leash. Has excellent recall. Loves to play with other animals and really loves his human. He is a very sweet and snuggly boy. He loves to be with his people. His bed is his go to place and loves to have toys to chew on. He likes going for rides in the car. He is good with food and can have a bowl to free eat as he wants. He currently plays with 8 other dogs off leash. He is also good with horses. He does not bark or whine when in the kennel.

Story
Tell us about the pet : She is completely kennel trained, potty trained, and whines at the door when she needs out and never has accidents in her kennel. She is working on walking on the leash leash as she was completely petrified of it when we found her. She is shy around new people, especially guys, but warms up if patient. She is learning sit and house manners, but she is smart, so I don't think it will take long. Great with dogs her size or bigger but little dogs and cats she wants to chase, we are working on this, though. She is a talker when you first get home or she wants to play , and it's so cute. She loves to play but also is a couch potato a nice little mix. No kids in our house, so no idea about kids.

Story
Maverick is completely kennel trained. Potty training is in progress, but never has accidents in his kennel. He is working on walking on the leash. He does get car sick. He is very shy around new people, but warms up in time. He knows sit and is learning house manners. He is very treat motivated, so that is helpful. I am working on chewing on toys only, but being he is a puppy, it's to be expected. He is very playful but a great little cuddler when play time is over. He is unsure of what to do with cats; he wants to chase but is also scared, so we are working on that. He is great with other dogs. We don't have kids, so I'm unsure of how that.

Story
Cherry is an approximately 3 year old Heeler mix that weighs 35 pounds. She is house trained, uses a doggie door and she is kennel trained. She is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative and recently spayed. This beautiful girl is sweet, affectionate and a loyal companion once she trust you. However, she is defensive when meeting people especially men and it will take time and patience for her to learn to trust. Cherry was abused and neglected before coming into APAC and would do best with someone who has experience with this type of dog. Cherry has not been around many children so not sure how she would behave with them. Cherry is completely house broken, quiet, loves snuggling with her favorite person and is the perfect playmate with her doggy pals. This girl is truly an amazing dog once you get to know her and would be a wonderful and protective companion for a woman or couple with loving understanding. Cherry’s adoption fee is $165.
