Story
Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Mousey loves to play, chase a ball and also fun to cuddle. Please get in touch and meet our precious Mousey who wants a family to call her own.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

Story
LaCroix may not see or hear the world the way we do, but he feels it in full. This sweet, resilient boy is both blind and mostly deaf, and he’s looking for a special person or family to help him navigate life with love, patience, and a little creativity. Despite his unique needs, LaCroix has the spirit of an explorer and the heart of a cuddlebug. Once he understands his surroundings, he settles into a routine beautifully and bonds deeply with the people who guide him with consistency and kindness. He responds well to gentle touch cues, learns spaces with a little help, and thrives in calm, structured environments. He'll do best in a home that’s safe, predictable, and filled with empathy—a place where he can feel secure and celebrated just as he is. LaCroix is a truly inspiring pup who reminds us that love doesn’t need to come with instructions—it just needs patience, understanding, and time. If you’re ready to be his guide through this world, he’ll reward you with trust, loyalty, and a connection that’s deeper than words. Ready to meet this extraordinary soul? LaCroix is waiting to show you that sometimes, the most beautiful things are the ones you feel with your heart.

Meet Socks, the charming and playful pup who's ready to steal your heart with his silly antics and loving nature! This smart and outgoing boy is the perfect blend of energy and affection, making him an ideal companion for a variety of homes. Socks is a social butterfly who loves nothing more than meeting new people and exploring the world around him. His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he'll have you smiling in no time with his adorable habit of wagging his head back and forth while playing with his favorite toys. And those eyes! Get ready for some intense, soulful gazes that'll make you wonder if there's a little human hiding behind those puppy dog eyes. This clever boy already knows "sit" and "down," and he's eager to learn more. He's mostly house-trained and has excellent indoor manners - no chewing on your favorite shoes or barking at mysterious noises here! Socks is a champion cuddler, always ready to curl up next to (or on top of) his humans for some quality snuggle time. The ideal home for Socks would be one with plenty of love and patience to help him continue his training journey. He'd love a family that enjoys outdoor adventures and has time for lots of play and cuddles. While he hasn't had much experience with cats or children, his friendly nature suggests he could adapt well with proper introductions. Are you ready to add a pair of Socks to your life? This lovable goofball is waiting to fill your days with wagging tails, silly antics, and endless love. Come meet Socks and see if he's the perfect fit for your family! Follow me @sillysockboy

Story
Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He really loves children and will happily play with them for hours. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He has been around cats and does well with them. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. He will need antinausea medication to travel, however. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will follow you from the garden to the couch, look no further — Paco is ready to love you for life. Paco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported to the PNW and NE. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Eazy is a sweet and spirited little guy with a big heart and a brave story. He was rescued from a drainage ditch alongside his mama and sister, Breezy, and has been thriving in foster care ever since. At home, Eazy is confident and playful with his doggie siblings, showing off his energetic and curious nature. Out in the world, he’s a bit more cautious—taking his time to warm up to new pups, people, and places but only a few minutes. His foster is working with him using positive reinforcement training to help build his confidence, and he’s making great progress! Even more helpful is having a kind, confident sibling by his side. He wasn’t bothered by the cat he met recently and is young enough to acclimate to having them around. Eazy would do best in a home with a yard, older children (10+) who can understand he is still learning and can help him learn the do’s and don’ts. He’s a total cuddle bug—curling up in your lap for a nap after a good play session. He loves to run, climb, jump, and is smart as a whip. Maybe he is a future agility or disc dog star? Eazy is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He will need potty training in his new home. If you're looking for a pup with a resilient spirit, a playful personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Eazy might just be your perfect match 🥰 Eazy's adoption fee of $375 includes vet care, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm treatment, rabies and tick vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and future neuter. Austin, TX area adoptions. Fenced backyard. Children over 10 years.

Story
SOFT & SWEET DOVE! Dove has come to our rescue as a stray with her sister Wren and her brother, Trooper. We think they are heeler mixes and their adult weight may be between 25-35 pounds. They are working on puppy pad training and their adopter should be up for house training them, with some **puppy classes. However, she is crate trained. They need an Austin, TX area home with a privacy fenced yard, no swimming pool unless fenced, no children under 5 years due to their sharp puppy teeth and behavior. A canine sibling will be a great to help out with further training. **As of 11/7/25, Dove is currently on a month-long puppy training program at a training camp. See the video above. Her adoption fee stays the same. We are committed to her welfare and being adoptable. Please consider how much effort we put into Dove.** Dove's adoption fee of $350 includes her vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, dewormer, heartworm/tick tests, preventatives, microchip, and a spay.

Story
SPICY🌶️! Pepper is a gorgeous red heeler (Australian cattle dog) who is super smart and at one time someone must have spent time on training. She knows sit, down, shake and treat. Pepper needs an active home with an adopter who will continue her training and possibly a canine sport. We think she might be a bit much for children under 8 years of age. She is crate trained but we do not know about house training. The only “downside ” we have seen is she guards her food from other dogs and thinks it’s all hers, so feeding any other other pets it is best to do in two different areas. A nice fenced yard would be perfect for lots of running, playing and training. We have not seen her with dogs under 30 pounds so we don’t know how she will be with small pets. Pepper’s adoption fee of $250.00 include her vet exam, basic vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm/tick testing, preventative, spay and microchip. Austin, TX area adoptions only. Fenced yard. Children over 8 years old.

Story
We will consider out-of-town adoptions on a case-by-case basis. SWEET DAISY HAS SKILLS!! This happy and confident heeler mix is such a pretty girl, pretty as a flower. She is playful and does well with most dogs but do best with dogs her size or larger. A privacy fenced yard would be great. An active family will be better. Daisy has waited a long time to be adopted to a private home. Somehow she never got a break. Poor lady. Although our ranchette is small and comfortable with other dogs roaming around, she yearns to be a part of your family and live in a private home. Recently, our rescue boarded her in Bobbi Colorado's Training camp for a whole month to teach her new skills that will make her more adoptable. We all know these kind of training does not come cheap. Now, she has impeccable manners and hoping that your family will see how far she has come and is so ready to be a part of your home. Daisy’s adoption fee of $250.00 includes her vet exam, basic vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm test, preventative, spay and microchip.

For sweet Heidi, nothing beats a game of fetch and a snuggle. This young gal loves to sprint around and chase tennis balls - all that's missing is you to cuddle up with! "Heidi is very affectionate and likes to please," says one of her fosters. "She learns quickly and loves to kiss and snuggle!" - Heidi is very inquisitive and likes to sniff and investigate everything she sees. - Her favorite treats are rawhide chip snacks, and all she asks is that you have plenty of those on hand! - Leash-walking is new for Heidi, and she's quickly picking up the skills. Hilo is a fun loving energetic dog. He cuddles and is wonderful with children. He loves to play and hasn't met a stranger! Hilo's fun place is sitting at your feet or near you on the sofa. He is okay with taking a bath and likes smelling good for the ladies. Hilo will do great in a home where he can receive lots of attention and love. He does still have puppy energy and tendencies, so he would love a family who can work with him on some training and basic manners, where he can get lots of exercise! He acclimates to new environments daily quickly and is ready to find his furever home! Come meet him!
