Story
Dixie is the cutest little thing! She was the runt of the litter but always the leader. Dixie's mom was a ridgeback mix who found herself pregnant and homeless. A nice lady in Louisiana found her and kept her thru the pregnancy until she had her beautiful babies. Dixie has such a fun, loving personality. She is great with kids! She's great on leash. She loves water. She would make an amazing agility dog. She is so fast and agile and quick to learn. She is going to stay small probably under 30 pounds. She was born Oct 1, 2023. She is also gorgeous with cool, unusual splashes of color and caramel eyes. Story
We took Bandit in when he was 10 weeks old. He was found on the side of the road with his sister. He is a heeler and requires a lot of exercise. He loves to swim, chase (and chew) the ball, and good belly rubs. He is 45 lbs, lanky and strong. He knows some commands (sit, high-5, go get the toy/ball, go for a ride in the car, hungry). He is very loyal, can be trusted to stay with you in the yard off leash. He is a protector. A sweet personality, and can adorably play on his own. He does well at the dog park. He is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. Unfortunately he has become aggressive at home with our other dog. Our 8-yo basset had five wounds from a recent attack. Bandit needs a home with no other dogs, no cats, with a yard to run in, and an owner who is committed to providing all of the great care this sweet boy requires. This is a very hard decision but we believe it is our last option in order to protect our other dog.
