This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well, how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her. She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home. Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out. She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE! She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with. She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge. Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands. Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either. She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show. This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans. A very handsome dog, Linus is a great dog we really would love to keep, but due to work and travel schedules we are not making him happy. Our daughter originally had him on property with lots of room. He had a blast there, but he and his buddy dog, Lucy, were more than she could handle with her small family. We thought we could make it work, but he would be happier with a little more attention. He rarely barks, sheds just a little hair (requires trimming) and loves to be petted, loved, and played with. He'll follow you from room to room and look at you with his very sad eyes. He's always been very loyal and protective, but gentle; especially with kids and babies. He is trained for invisible fence and stays close by the house. He’s good at chasing the ball and loves to go for walks and sniff the neighborhood. Linus was just groomed with a trim and all shots. He is nervous around other dogs and at the groomers, but once he gets to know you (or neighbor dogs) is very friendly.
