Story
Zeus was surrendered due to no fault of his own. The owner became ill and was unable to care for him. He lived indoors with 2 cats and a large dog. He was trained to use puppy pads indoors, and the owner was working on teaching him to go outside. Zeus was crate trained and was used to being in his crate when home alone. His favorite toy was his chicken squeaky toy, but he is not terribly picky. Any toys will do! He loves rawhide chews. Zeus enjoys going for walks and riding in the car.

This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $150 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Millie, a 26-pound bundle of energy and love! This 10-month-old Beagle-Heeler mix has a heart as big as her playful spirit. Whether she’s chasing after a ball, splashing in the water, or going on a hike, Millie’s enthusiasm is infectious. She’s always up for an adventure, but after a day of fun, she’ll happily snooze the rest of the day away—right by your side, of course! Millie is sweet and gentle with everyone she meets—kids, dogs, cats—you name it! She’s a little shy at first, especially around new people and dogs, but with a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loyal and playful companion. Watching her come out of her shell and show off her happy self is truly heartwarming. Millie’s already learning the ropes with commands like “sit,” “come,” and “drop it.” She’s also housetrained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to an active home that loves long walks and playtime. If you’re looking for a small, sweet, and adventurous dog who will be your best friend through thick and thin, Millie is ready to steal your heart!  Interested in adopting? Story
Winter is a very active affectionate pup. She was born on the first day of a huge winter storm so that how she received her name. She is around 10 months old and has a slender build to her. She is amazing with other dogs, good with cats, great with new people and kids, decent on a leash, crate trained, has good recall, loves to play and run, is about 75% potty trained, and would make a great family member. Winter is a red heeler mix and can jump really high and is very athletic. She would do good on a farm with another pup where she has room to run but would also make a good couch potato as long as she can get her energy out beforehand. Please consider giving Winter the home she deserves.

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation WAIVED if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Burt, a joyful, goofy and lovable mixed breed pup looking for his forever home! Burt is just over one year old and weighs in at 53 pounds. With his possible Australian Kelpie and Mountain Cur heritage, Burt brings a perfect blend of playfulness and smarts. In a familiar environment, he's a happy medium-energy dog who enjoys making his humans laugh. One of Burt's most endearing habits is his "yoga" pose, where he stretches out with his legs behind him. It's a sight that never fails to bring a smile! He has a particular fondness for squeaky toys, often carrying them around like prized possessions. Burt has gone thru a basic training course with his foster, leaning commands like Sit, Down, Place and going into his kennel on command. He is housetrained and has even started ringing bells on the back door to signal when he needs to go out. His crate training is impeccable, making him a great companion for someone who needs to be away during the workday. This charming pup loves belly rubs, ear scratches, running with other dogs, and digging for critters in the yard. While he can be timid around new people, especially men, he warms up quickly with treats and the presence of other dog friends. Although he's not a fan of cats or livestock, he would thrive in a home with a similarly energetic dog. Burt had a tough start in life. He was brought to us injured after being shot in the face, and there are still some bullet fragments lodged there. This makes him breathe (and snore) loudly and sometimes gives him a runny nose, but otherwise, he is not affected by his past injuries. Burt is looking for a loving home with a fenced yard where he can safely play and explore. His ideal family would be patient and willing to continue his training, helping him learn new tricks and build confidence. Burt's resilience and loving nature make him a truly special dog ready to bring joy to his new home.  Interested in adopting?
