Story
Unfortunately, due to allergy/living reasons, we need to rehome our beloved heeler-mix, Loki (male / neutered / almost 6 years old). He enjoys all kinds of activities like walking/hiking, wading in the water, tug-o-war, herding/chasing/being chased by people/kids/other dogs, general zoomiez, playing with/chasing balls, roughing around/wrestling, and bringing you random sticks/twigs he’s found. But also enjoys just lounging around, laying/napping in the sun, chewing on a good big bone for hours, sitting by a camp fire, cuddling, etc. For the last few years, he has been living under the same roof as 1 other dog, two cats, and a newborn-to-toddler with no issues. He’s a great non-picky eater; he will eat just about ANYTHING, even fruits/vegetables. I enjoyed raising him as a single guy for the first 2-3 years, but he would also make for a great family or farm dog. Located in Chattanooga, TN. Transportation can be arranged if necessary. Minimal rehome fee.

Story
I went to a worksite first day on the job, and this beautiful stray followed me for 8 hours while fixing gutters. We decided since he was as skinny as he was that it was only safe for him to take him and give him a bath. I've been struggling to rehome him but I most certainly won't take a fee. He's sweet to everyone and has a problem with teething so chewing and nipping is something he does. He doesn't and hasn't ctually bitten anyone either. He's genuinely a sweet and loving little dog. I can't afford him as well as im planning on moving soon. Relocating him for no price. He's loyal listens to commands and he's also been house trained. Like I said I've been nursing him from malnutrition and removed ticks from him. He's cooperative in baths as well. Likely not even a year old yet. Would be the best companion for anyone struggling with emotion distress. He's just so loving and such an energetic bundle of fun. He needs someone who can truly take care of him.

Leah fits a lot of personality into her compact mid side frame. Runs well for her age (7). She really has everything you could ask for. No leaks here (housebroken). Would do best in a home where she is the only fur baby. We believe she would do well with older children. Leah is an excellent match for anyone who is interested in having an incredibly sweet and gentle dog in their family. If she sounds like the dog for you come on down! Cause we wanna see ya with a LEAH!

Story
If you love puppy kisses, you'll love Miss Pringles! Despite her name, this girl is not at all salty: she is as sweet as can be. Lots of things are very new for her, but she is becoming braver and gaining more confidence in her foster home each day! For example, she wouldn't walk on hardwood floors or go up stairs on the first day or so, but she slowly got the hang of it! Her adopter will just need to be patient with her as she figures these new things out because she only aims to please! Pringles picked up on potty training immediately (not a single accident in the house, but she sometimes does do the happy/nervous tiny puppy tinkle!) She gets along well with other pups (she's very submissive) and is polite with the cat. Pringles has been around young children and was a total sweet pea! Lots of happy wiggles and puppy kisses! She responds very well to praise, and her new family can really build a strong bond with her by just loving her and building her up! She is going to be such a sweet, loyal, and loving buddy!

Story
This litter of six "watch" dogs was born June 11, 2023. They are Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler pups. You can see their mom, Swatch, and know that they will be medium sized when full grown. Right now they are still young and in need of a little training. They are good with cats, dogs, and with children. Timex is a male that is tricolor with one long white stocking. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for this active and busy breed. Would allow for play time, exploring and the confidence to succeed with their house training. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia are Blue Heeler mixes with a twist! They have got the Aussie accent and the sass to match. Born in March, they are still figuring out this whole dog thing, but they have got the basics down pat. They have a soft spot for kids and other animals, but don't worry, they won't tolerate any nonsense. Story
Batman is an extremely nervous dog and would not even let us pet him or get near him for many months after adopting him 4yrs ago. I have been working with him and he has made much improvement but definitely would need a patient owner willing to slowly work with him to get over his fears. He now will come up to people and allow people to pet him. He also loves cuddling on the bed. He loves dogs more than he loves people and will learn from them and a home with another dog would be best for him. He also gets along great with cats and kids who are able to respect his space when he asks for it. He is still fearful of being leashed (though we have been working on that), jumping in cars, and being picked up so a fenced in yard is a must as walks are tricky. I have been able to crate train him and he must be crated at night due to waking up in a panic at the slightest noise. He only shows aggression when cornered or picked up. Even then, he will bare his teeth and warning nips before biting.

Story
We adopted Rue from a shelter at 6 months old. He is sweet and likes people, and loves to play. He is energetic and likes to be taken on walks and play often. He is very well potty trained (we've only ever had one accident in the house in 3 years) and he doesn't chew things up, get into the trash etc. He's very well-behaved in the house. Since getting Rue we have struggled with intense reactivity and anxiety. He does not like any other animals, especially dogs, and is aggressive toward them in and out of the house. We've tried exposure, anxiety medication, and three different trainers who used different approaches and nothing has solved the issue. He also is very nervous and anxious and it can be intense. As a result of these behavior issues, especially when we are considering having children soon, we're making the difficult decision to rehome Rue. We believe he'd do best in an area with a lot of land or a farm outside of the city, and a home with no other animals.

Story
In Dunlap, TN -Artie is ready for his forever home! Artie is special needs, as he is completely blind. He has done so well in his foster home. Artie is a 1 year old Australian mix who is completely blind. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. Artie is a lively boy filled with curiosity about the world. He loves the sound of planes overhead and the rustle of the leaves in the wind and the feel of the sun and wind on his face. He is potty trained (but taken out quite often). He loves being in the house with his people and also running outside with his two Aussie friends. He is crate trained and rarely puts up a bark about going into the crate. He loves the contents of a full toy basket and will empty it to make sure he shares his attention with each toy. He is very smart and is learning commands. Artie has been blind since birth but he is so eager to find his way. You would not know he's blind as he maneuvers around the house and outside. He bumps into things occasionally, but he keeps right on going. He will follow you anywhere if you have treats. He may be able to detect light and movement of shapes. We have hopes that Artie will become a very enjoyable and loved family pet, as he is not aggressive or reactive in the least and has a soft mouth when playing with toys and loves a good pet and scratch. Artie would do well with a companion dog, preferably a dog his size or larger. He is also very capable of entertaining himself with his toys and would do well as an only “child” because he loves his people and wants to be wherever they are. He needs a fenced yard so he can run and play without veering off in a wrong direction. He will need continued leash training, but should do well with time and consistency. What Artie needs most is a loving human who is patient and can help guide him through the world and keep him safe and someone who will be dedicated to him and make him part of the family. He will love you and you will love him! He is ready for adventures. Check out Artie. If you would like to consider making Artie a part of your family, please fill out our adoption application at the link below. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption... There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.
