Story
Louie is a 6 year old, 37 lbs , cattle dog mix. He is a good boy who loves car rides, hikes, playing ball, and cuddling in the mornings. Unfortunately, he does not trust small children and with the newest addition to our household, needs to find a good home without children in it. He currently lives with a cat but will chase her to protect food. He likes dogs that are his size and smaller as well as larger submissive dogs. He is very trainable as he is a very smart boy. He is housebroken and can be left alone without having to be crated or gated. He can be reactive on a leash but this is as he is overly protective of those he loves. He has responded to treat training very well on leash in the past. We love Louie and only want him to go to a home who will love him like we do. He is a sweet boy and will be a wonderful addition to the right persons/people’s life!

Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Leo is one of seven dogs from this owner looking for loving homes. Leo’s mom Riley and sisters Roxy and Snowflake have already found homes. Leo and his other siblings are all about a year old and are a mixture of Cattle Dog/English Setter/Labrador Ret. and Border Collie from what the owner said. They were born on their farm and he made no effort until now to find them homes. Leo inherited PRA, Progressive Retinal Atrophy and is completely blind at night and has started to  lose his daylight vision. This condition  will progress to total blindness. Leo coped quite well with poor night vision his condition was only diagnosed when our rescue partner in TN took him to the veterinarian for his vaccines and heartworm test. Most dogs with PRA adapt and learn their environments, they are only noted to be blind when the environment has changed. Leo is a loving boy he likes kids, cats and other dogs. Sponsor Leo:  Your donation will support Leo on his journey toward finding a loving home. Your gift will provide veterinary care, safe housing, nutritious food and his transport to PA. Frieda is a high energy girl looking for an active family. She loves to play and would excel if she were to have a “job” to do. Freida is a very loving girl with a little stubborn streak. She LOVES other dogs but can be large and in charge.  So she would do best with dogs her size.  She is sweet, loads of fun and very loving. She even loves to give hugs!  She will flourish with continued training. www.mostlymuttz.org #mostlymuttzrescue #ActiveLifestyle #soloving #adoptme #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #adopt Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525 PA Kennel License #10872 ##2142498##

Story
Buster is a loyal, easygoing companion who’s ready to find his forever family. While he may have some classic cattle dog traits like his herding tendencies and playful style, he’s far from your typical herder. This handsome boy has a calm demeanor, but don’t be fooled—he has his occasional bursts of puppy energy that’ll bring a smile to your face. Buster loves car rides, trips to Lowe’s, and leisurely walks, where he happily takes in the world around him. At home, he’s the perfect gentleman: housebroken, crate-trained, and respectful of everyone—including cats, dogs, kids, and even pet bunnies! While he’s not the most playful pup, he thoroughly enjoys spending time with his people and other dogs. Whether he’s snoozing after a long walk or tagging along for an errand, Buster’s easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who’ll happily join you on adventures and cuddle up at home, Buster might just be the one for you. Buster is being fostered in Columbia (Lancaster County), Pennsylvania and is ready to head home as soon as his furever family is. www.mostlymuttz.org Note:  Buster is currently being treated for Heartworm Disease. Heartworm cannot be passed to humans or other animals and is curable. #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptable #greatdog #SeekingFurever #OhSoHandsome #adoptme ##2176083##
