Story
Flora came to us as a stray two years ago. No one ever came looking for her. She is affectionate and playful once she gets to know and trust you, and is very loyal with her people. She likes walking and exploring the field with volunteers. With new people, she can be aloof and selective with whom she likes. Flora is very fearful of sudden movements and loud noises. She likes women best. Flora wants to trust people and needs a patient, understanding person who will help her gain confidence and love her, despite her quirks. Flora does have a bite history.

Story
Hello, this is Lobo, he is a 4 year old male neutered cattle dog. His birthday is February 14th, 2020 and I've had him since he was 3 months old. He came from an accidental litter on a ranch in CA. Since having a baby last year, I am struggling to give him attention and he is becoming nippy with my toddler. My child's safety is paramount so we've made the difficult but necessary decision to rehome him. He should not go to an inexperienced home with small children. Besides this he does have resource aggression with food and has bitten a cat (trying to eat his food while he was eating). We've managed this by keeping him separate with food around. Despite these behavioral issues he is very affectionate, eager to please, intelligent and sweet. He is also very athletic and loves fetching the ball, tug of war, and jumping over bars. He is a cattle dog and will herd you and follow you around like a shadow. He can get destructive when bored. He's current on vaccines, heartworm and flea meds.

Story
Meet Charity! (Known as Lola) She's a sweet, cattle dog, approximately 14 months old! Charity is good with other dogs - in fact may even prefer them. She is friendly, smart and potty trained. So what's the catch, right? Well, Charity is all Cattle Dog. She needs an active lifestyle and someone who is able to provide both mental and physical stimulation. Experience with the breed is a must. She also cannot be around small animals, like cats and chickens. She has a high prey drive. With that said, if you are  willing to provide some structure, continued training and a busy/active lifestyle to this young lady, she would fit perfectly in your home.  ##2001066##

Story
Longmire is guessed to be around a year old. He is a fun guy! He tested well with other dogs. He wants to rough house and wrestle. He will need a dog who can tolerate his shenanigans. He cannot live with cats. He would not respect their boundaries and was too interested in being friends. He has a lot of energy so children will need to be used to that. PA Kennel License #1333.

Story
Chloe is a beautiful 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Hound mix who is excited to meet her new human companions! She is a very friendly, extroverted dog who loves to interact with people and receive loving human attention. She loves people so much that she also has some separation anxiety and does not like to be away from her best friends. Chloe is very energetic and strong on a leash and would definitely benefit from some consistent training and behavior work. She would also do best in a home without any cats. Do you think you can provide Chloe with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption.
