Story
Hello, I'm Nemo. I'm a bit on the shy side, but once I get to know you, I promise to be your best friend. I'm sweet as sugar, and I love to snuggle. Quiet times with you would be my favorite. We could sit together, maybe watch a movie, or just enjoy each other's company. I'm not a fan of loud noises, but I promise to be brave for you. I'm looking for a forever home where I can feel safe and loved. I promise to return that love tenfold. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and cuddly companion, I'm your girl.

Story
This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. This little girl is ready for her happily ever after. Please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption process works. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.

Story
Windy is going to be a whole lot of fun for some lucky family. She is VERY adventurous, VERY active, VERY outgoing and has a zest for life. She is a friendly and happy girl as well and seems to love everyone that she meets. She really enjoys the outdoors too, so if you need a hand with the cattle, a hiking partner or running partner, I think she’ll be a good one. Given her activity level, she will need to be adopted by a fun and ACTIVE family. Windy didn’t come to us alone either, she came with her four puppies, Barbie, Bindi, Binky and Bodhi, who will be posted for adoption shortly. Now that she has fulfilled her motherly duties it’s her turn for a better life. She is 4-5 years old and weighs 33 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Windy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
This adorable litter is made up of four fun loving and carefree pups. Like most puppies their age, they have plenty of energy and they love to run and play with each other. They also love being around people…they are super friendly, happy and as playful as they can be. This little girl is simply adorable…I love her little bob tail! The Animal Control Officer in a neighboring county removed the puppies and their mother from a small hoarding situation when the puppies were about four weeks old. Barbie is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. She was born 9/18/24 which makes her 13 weeks old and weighing 10 pounds at the time of this posting (12/20/24). Her mom, Windy, is also posted for adoption. and she appears to be a full blooded Blue Heeler, weighing 33 pounds. Barbie has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Barbie is being fostered in Tennessee.

Story
Meet Fawn, she is a mix breed with a lot of personality. She's about five years old and has as much energy as any puppy. Unfortunately, a combination of new traveling job and a second baby on the way has made it difficult for us to keep her. She is incredibly friendly, but a little high strung. We're looking to place her with someone who already has dogs so she has someone to play with and run some energy out of her. We would also like someone with a large fenced in yard so she can run. She's a very social dog, but is crate trained and is perfectly well behaved when left at home alone. She is great with our 18 month old and any kids we have come over, as well as with other dogs when we have to board her. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen. She sheds a lot, so be prepared for that. Other than that, she is anxious and still behaves like a puppy, despite her age. She is a good dog, but our home is too small for her and two kids under 3.

Story
Pooh Bear was rescued from a shelter, he is a neutered male Heeler (Cattle Dog). Very friendly boy, loves everyone and is good with other dogs. He is high energy and very smart - he requires a fenced yard for daily off-leash exercise and play, and plans for ongoing training and dogsport, or a very active lifestyle. This boy loves toys and play, he would be excellent for disc dog, dock diving, agility, or any other dog sport requiring lots of energy, a great temperament, and athletic ability! He keeps his kennel clean though he does like to tear up his blankets. He is crate trained and appears to be housebroken.

Story
Maeby is a four year old Blue Heeler born on March 13th, 2020. She is a very smart girl and is very loving and protective. She gets well along with our other dogs, however she tends to be reactive towards dogs she does not know well, along with people. Maeby will need someone who is willing to exercise her, ideally someone with a backyard or some land. She is very high energy and requires to be worked physically, as well as mentally. She is such a sweet girl and deserves a home that can give her everything she needs. She tends to be reactive on her walks (lunging at people, cars, and other animals), so she needs someone with patience. When she is not in an environment that overstimulates her, she is the best dog you could ask for. She knows tricks very well and can sit, stay, do paw, lay down and spin :-) If you have any questions regarding Maeby, please reach out! We just want the best for her.

Story
Josie was rescued in the fall of 2020. We don’t know anything about her life prior to us other than she had been adopted a few times before and returned to the rescue for her behavior. She is a total love bug with people and has never shown any aggression or resource guarding with humans, including none with children of any age. She loves to snuggle on the couch with people. She does have extremely high prey drive & will chase to try & kill small animals such as cats, bunnies, squirrels, etc. but is trained off leash using an electronic collar. She has gone through a lot of training for her dog reactivity & will whine when seeing other dogs but walks very nicely on a pinch collar. She has come a long way with her reactivity towards other dogs but cannot be trusted in close proximity with them, especially if they get in her face. She will resource guards bones, toys, and people for attention. She loves off leash hiking, but isn’t a fan of water! She truly is a lovebug with people.

Story
Hiya, I`m Link! A young boy like me is always ready for adventure, however I am looking for a partner that can take me through the serious training that I`ll need in order to be adventure ready. As I was a stray, I can be a bit nervous with new people and I will let you know it. I`m not a fan of sharing my items and I`m picky with my dog friends too, although I may be good with the right one. I enjoy chin scratches and resting with my friends, but I don`t enjoy cuddles. I`m looking for a home where all household residents are over 15, as I`m really looking for a family that is dedicated to making sure I succeed in my adventures. If you`re interested in devoting time to have the best partner around, please stop by the shelter to meet me. ---This animal is available by appointment only. Please reach out to schedule a visit with one of his handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy, he doesn’t like a lot of commotion around him and as was stated before, he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. He has always lived inside and is protective of his house. That being said, he needs to be in more of a quiet, calm home and he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for a quiet, laid back family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
