Meet Toast!Toast came from a rough start, so he’s still working on building his confidence, but give him a little time (and some treats), and you’ll see just how eager and loving he can be. He is a classic working dog: active, driven, and happiest when he has a job to do. He loves training, is super food motivated, and would thrive with someone who enjoys keeping his mind and body busy. Toast is looking to be your one and only pup for now, but he’s open to meeting dog-savvy teens and possibly even cats with slow introductions. If you`re interested in meeting Toast, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00 - 6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.-Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center1467 Bloom Road Danville PA 17821Kennel# 2909

Story
Reese is a smart, energetic cattle dog born on 8/8/19 who came to us from a farm in Kentucky. She has been the only pet in our home and spent her early years hiking, backpacking, and enjoying an active lifestyle. Reese loves long walks, freedom to explore, and thrives with structure and consistency. In 2021, she completed a 3-week stay-and-train program focused on leash manners and place/stay commands. She is loyal, driven, and a great companion the majority of the time. After welcoming our son in 2024, Reese has struggled to adjust to life with a young child. Because of this, we believe she would do best in an adult-only home without children or other pets. While she is a wonderful dog most of the time, her occasional unpredictability makes our home no longer the right fit. Reese would thrive with an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who understands working breeds and can provide clear boundaries, exercise, and mental stimulation. She does have a bite history, details upon request.

Story
Meet Ringo! This handsome pup with beautiful markings was sadly dumped but is now safe and thriving in his foster home.Ringo is a sweet, funny boy who’s great on a leash and loves to make people smile. He gets excited easily, so he`d do best in a home with older kids who can match his energy and playfulness.Ringo has been living around his foster’s feral cats and does just fine with them, though he may need a slow and patient introduction to new dog friends. Once he warms up, he’s a total sweetheart and loves companionship.Ringo is ready to find his forever home! He is located in Houston, Texas and can be transported to most states for an additional fee of $300.

Story
This adorable litter is made up of five fun loving and carefree pups. Like most puppies their age, they have plenty of energy and they love to run and play with each other. They also love being around people…they are super friendly, happy and as playful as they can be. They get along great with other dogs & they are good with kids. She and her siblings were actually born here, so you could say that I’ve known them their whole life. Their Mom showed up at a nice couple’s home and they asked us if we could take her into our rescue. I noticed immediately that her waistline was pretty round and a couple of weeks later she graced us with these beautiful puppies. Their Mom is a small 32 pound Blue Heeler mix, but Dad was a traveling man, so not sure what he was. Aggie will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She is 12 weeks old (dob 7/17/25) and weighs 16 pounds at the time of this posting (10/8/25). She has been spayed, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Aggie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
