Story
Sasha is a lovely 1.5 y/o 40 lb Australian cattle dog shepherd mix (she looks like a permanent German shepherd puppy). She is sweet, smart, athletic and loves to learn. We’ve had her since 8 weeks old from the humane society and she’s known nothing but love. She knows basic obedience commands. She is very energetic! She loves to run and especially loves fetch; she will instinctually chase, bring the ball back, and drop it for you to throw again. Her ideal home will likely be someone with adequate time to give her lots of stimulation, exercise, and training. She loves training! She is timid around new dogs and would need time to get used to them. She is also timid around new humans but warms up to them quickly. She may bark at them but no has defensive reactivity. Currently living with an elderly dog and 3 cats. She is up to date on all shots and vet visits. She is spayed. She has been fully potty trained. She is on one medicine, Proin, which is $30 per month.

Hi meet Oreo, a super cute and spunky barely a year old babyboy. He's got lots of puppy energy and loves to be entertained. He loves playing with his squeaky toys and even rocks. He is great both indoors and outdoors and very treat motivated. He actually loves snacking on carrots and other veggies (such a healthy eater!). He's good with other dogs and mostly quiet doesn't bark often. He's a fun boy, possibly mixed with the blue heeler. He's ready to steal your heart so send us your application ASAP! Currently being fostered in Bakersfield area, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and any other locations within the continental, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him.

Story
🌟Joey Tyler! 🌟 Now being fostered in Pittsburg PA ! But can be transported to the East Coast and PNW Joey is an energetic and bouncy 10 month old Blue Heeler and Aussie mix. He loves walks and hiking, chasing, digging, chewing, obedience training, and watching TV. He loves to learn, and is food motivated. Joey is fully house broken and crate trained, and he knows most basic commands - “come, sit, stay, drop it, leave it, up, down, gentle, look, and crate”. He is good on a leash and well tempered on walks, not reactive towards people or dogs passing by. So far he has proven great with most all other dogs, and loves to play with older kids (but he was too much for the little ones under 6yrs old). And he did well when meeting goats and horses, although does not have experience with them yet. Joey has never met a cat, as far as I know, and would probably like to chase it. He loves to play chase and would thrive in a home with breed experience and a way to channel his fun energy! Ready for lots of love and adventures? Georgie is waiting for his forever home! 🐾 Don't miss out on this amazing boy! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males traditionally. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow1snfQd7sg&t=1s Las Vegas is a beautiful girl who had to raise not one but two litters at an abandoned house. Look at the video to see when I first found them. She had 3 older puppies and 3 babies with her. She weighs around 35 lbs and is great with other dogs. She is ok around cats, not aggressive, but will chase them if they run, so no kitties in her home. She is very submissive with humans and mostly with other dogs as well. The only time she can get a little dominant is when it comes to feeding time (only with other dogs, not with humans) but can you really blame her? She had to fend for herself and all of her babies and make sure she and them don't starve. She is fed with several other dogs and there are no actual issues, she just growls sometimes and wants to eat first or have her own bowl, but she has NEVER attacked or gone beyond growling. She is such a sweet and deserving little momma and she should finally get a break and get some rest in her very own home with her very own family. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Adoption fee: $485 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
