NAME: Aurora
BREED: Pointer/Pit cross
AGE: 1.5 years
WEIGHT: 40+ pounds
LIKES: This three-legged beauty loves life, she loves her humans, her feline and canine friends, littles, big people, and the elderly.
She loves her food and would benefit from a slow feeder bowl.
DISLIKES: Haven't found any yet.
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Aurora has a wonderful, bouncy, happy personality. She is very eager to bond with her person, making her a wonderful candidate as an emotional support dog.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: So far, no accidents in the house or in her crate. She is taken outside regularly, likes her person to stand outside with her for a few minutes while she does her business.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Aurora is perfectly crate trained, just needs one little treat to hop inside.
EXTRAS/MISC.: Aurora was found on the side of a freeway with a traumatic leg injury and, as a result, lost most of her back right leg. She gets around amazingly, proving to be super playful and agile. She can jump right up on your furniture and is the best cuddler ever.
We adore this gorgeous girl, and we know her future people will see her as a vibrant and energetic new family member, too.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with information about the next steps and setting up a Meet and Greet. Our process is not a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
