Story
Hello! My name is Gus!I`m a sweet, cuddly boy once I warm up to new people. It can take me a little bit to feel cozy with someone new. I am super smart and love to learn - and I really mean that! True to my herding breed I`m very intelligent, pick up on new tricks faster than you can blink an eye and am a whizz at fetch! A family that likes to do training and teach tricks would be in heaven with me!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok, no young children given I can be a sensitive boy.OTHER DOGS: No, I prefer humans over dogs. CATS: Potentially, with a cat experienced with dogs and an owner experienced with dog-cat intros.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: No, I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience, ideally someone who has experience with sensitive dogs or herding breeds.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended as I would love a safe space to run! Unfenced rural would also be great!HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings as I don`t enjoy dogs in my personal space.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Not quite, I will need training and patience with this. I was left for long hours in my last home and did pee in the house. I’m hoping with a committed family and frequent outings, I can get on track with house-training!If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Meet Lina! Lina is a sensitive and sweet 10-month-old Dalmatian/Cattle Dog mix weighing 25 lbs. This petite pup has a gentle spirit and is looking for a patient, loving family to help her bloom into her confident and loyal self. Lina loves the company of her foster siblings, both canine and human. She thrives around calm and respectful kids and enjoys spending time with cats—she’s perfectly content to coexist peacefully. She’s an independent soul who loves her crate, making it her safe and cozy retreat. Lina also adores chew toys and happily keeps herself entertained with them. While Lina is still a bit shy and uncertain in new environments, her playful and loving personality begins to shine once she feels safe and secure. With a calm and understanding family, she will undoubtedly flourish. Why You’ll Love Lina: • Gentle and sweet-natured • Great with dogs, cats, and calm, older kids • Loves her crate and chew toys • Medium energy—playful but enjoys quiet moments Lina’s ideal home is one that offers a calm and loving environment with plenty of patience to help her build confidence. With kindness and reassurance, Lina will become the most loyal and loving companion.
