Story
RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Story
🐶 Meet Angelica Pickles! 🐶At just 12 weeks old, Angelica has already proven she's one tough little pup. From the very start, she’s had quite an adventurous journey! 🌟👶 Bottle Baby: Her momma didn’t have enough milk for her and her siblings, so Angelica was bottle-fed by a dedicated foster, giving her a loving start. ❤️💪 Puppy Strangles Survivor: She came down with a rare condition known as Puppy Strangles, but this brave girl pulled through and is fully recovered.🦵 Unique Walk: As Angelica's been growing, her front leg muscles have stretched a little too quickly, giving her a funny little walk for now. Sometimes, mixed breeds grow a bit differently, but as she matures, her muscles should strengthen and balance out.🤍 Looks: Angelica is a beauty in her own way! She’s all white without the speckled coat like her siblings, so she may not catch every eye right away, but she's just as special.🐾 Breed Mix Mystery: We’re guessing she's an Australian Cattle Dog mix, though she doesn’t look quite like her siblings. She'll likely grow to be around 40 lbs, but her final size is a bit of a surprise! 🎁Angelica Pickles is looking for her forever home, where someone will appreciate her resilience and unique charm. Could that be you? 🌈🏠Angelica Pickles's adoption fee is $300, includes vaccines, flea & tick treated, and will be microchipped and spay/neuter. You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sweet Luna came to our rescue with puppies. She was an incredible momma. All of her pups have since been adopted but she is still patiently waiting on someone to call her their girl. She loves walks and just discovered how much she loves the sand volleyball court! This sweet girl came to DASH fearful and shy with little confidence. She has made great strides in the DASH Prison Training Program. Her handler says " Luna is better than a good pet, she's a good friend and a great roommate". When you wake up, she's looking at you like "What are we going to do today?", but she is not afraid to be alone either. She will do best with a person who responds in a calm, relaxed approach. She is highly intelligent, affectionate and loyal and attaches quickly to one person. She loves everyone though. She's a great dog who just needs a chance with a family that has time for her. She will need time to decompress, with love and patience to show her she is safe and part of the family. Luna is not cat-friendly but is sociable with other dogs, just not puppies. She has not been "kid tested" so proper meet & greets are always in order. We are excited and anticipate Luna finding her perfect home. Rescue Luna and she'll rescue you. Apply today!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 3:49 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Fancy! Oh my goodness, look at this pretty girl with her salt & pepper looks and those accessorizing black ears! She is just a little beauty and is looking to waltz her fancy-pants self into your home and fill it with joy. She is currently in the DASH Prison Training Program where she is learning puppy manners and basic commands. She seems to be very intelligent and is learning fast but of course she will need to continue her training in her new home environment to fully develop. Her trainer says she is very affectionate and relaxed, also smart and sociable. Fancy likes to play with her toys and the other dogs and her favorite game is fetch. She is housebroken, walks on a leash, doesn't complain in her crate but would much rather be snuggling with you! She has not been cat or kid tested. She would love to meet you and see if you're her forever family. Apply to meet her today! Story
PLEASE SHARE,   meet George, he has been with us quite awhile and would really like a loving home of his own. His birthday is 6-30-12.  George loves to hike, swim and just lay around on the couch or cuddling in bed.  George is very well behaved and a great dog.  In George's old home he had always been an only dog, then the family has children. George is very afraid of small children.  George wants to find a loving home where there are no little children crawling around scaring him.  George is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/lyme test negative, on Heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention.   His old mother calls him the Lone Wolf.   If you have room in your heart and home for George or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue with your name and telephone number to miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. We are located just east of Cincinnati, Ohio, out Rt 32 in Brown County. We work by appointment only, after you are approved. Thank you.
