Story
***Adoption Sponsored by Tina Clevenger***Meet Scar! Scar came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Scar is a 1-year-old, intact male Shepherd Mix. Scar shown us that he knows how to sit, loves to play, likes treats and attention. Scar is learning to walk on a leash and doesn't seem mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Scar did great for his bath and exam where he weighs in at 47 lbs. where he was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. Our adoptions are $100 cash/local check only. Our visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. We are located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331. You can reach us at 937-547-1645.

Story
We have had issues with our neighbor's dog for a few years now. The dog comes to our house and jumps on the windows and causes general havoc, to the point that Nova has gotten reactive to it over the years. We've also tried doing some basic training with Nova, but she can get tunnel vision sometimes. We are now pregnant and worried about how Nova will respond to those outside influences around a baby. When our neighbor's are out of town and the dog is boarded, Nova does great. We have not had any instances of reactivity in several months, but we are not confident that we can get the situation resolved. We are hoping that rehoming her and getting her out of this situation will help give her a better quality of life. A quiet home, preferably with a fenced yard and no small children, would really suit her well. Nova is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves cuddles, especially if you have warm cozy blanket. Her favorite treats are milk bones, celery, carrots and ice cubes.

Story
Dale was found while we were on vacation in Kentucky he was from a breeder breeding cattle shepherds for live stock work. He was not purchased so was turned out. He is so sweet and extremely loyal. He has been professionally trained. He is 10000% house broken. He is off leash trained loves to hike swim and be outdoors. He then puts himself to bed at 8:30. He sometimes thinks he is a lap dog. We love him with our whole hearts!! So why a new home? Our cats, our neighbors cats. He would not dream of leaving our yard and us not a runner. Any cat that enters his perimeter he rushes and chases. He is not in anyway aggressive but his prey drive we have spent so much time and can not correct. The cats are miserable, they are not safe. Small dogs he loves doesn’t mind a bit and is careful of.
