Story
VERA is ready to play! She's a stunning young brindle mixed breed girl, our best guess is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She's around 1 year old and fully grown at 33 pounds. She loves to run and play in the yard with her doggie pals. Every morning she hits the ground running, doing Daytona 500-style zoomies in the yard. Vera has struck up a special relationship with her foster sister based on a mutual love of playing bitey face and tug-of-war. Vera was painfully shy when she arrived at the rescue but she's blossomed in her foster home. She's still on the timid side in new situations and when meeting new people and needs the companionship of a confident playful dog who matches her in size and energy level. Vera needs a home with a physically-fenced yard suitable for high speed zoomies. She's housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Vera, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Vera at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. She's very timid during adoption events, but please don't let that deter you, all she needs is a little patience. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
This deceptively small dog is FRECKLES and he is a piece of work. He has a big personality packed into a little 16 pound body. Freckles is equal parts energetic fun, silliness and affection. He's about 18 months old and fully grown. Our best guess on breed is Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua/Beagle. Freckles loves people of all ages. Loves loves loves. He will hop into your lap for belly rubs then hop up and zoom around the yard for a few laps. Freckles is the kind of dog who needs some action -- long walks or hikes, playtime in the yard, runs or even agility training. Freckles can be a little bossy with other dogs, sometimes his mouth writes checks his little body can't cover. We think he'd be happiest as an only dog, the center of your universe, soaking up all of the human attention. He is okay with dog savvy kitties. If you'd like to meet Freckles, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Freckles at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Story
Hey Hey Woody is the name being awesome is my game! I`m still a younger guy so I could have a bit of energy. I`d love a family to play with and maybe go on some adventures. I`m unsure how I`d be around new dogs or children so if you have either please bring them all in so we can meet and see whether our energies match. I may need some refreshers on housetraining but with responsible, consistent training I think I`d catch on quickly.

Story
The votes are IN and we ARE the WINNERS!! Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes! We love and play very well together and would be ideal as a pair, but do NOT have to be adopted together. We need another calm and confident dog to keep us happy/played with and to teach us all we need to know about being loved pups :) We are gorgeous pups and our coats will accent your hair :) ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

In the Bible, the myrtle tree symbolizes peace, restoration, divine blessing, and enduring beauty, often appearing in prophecies about God's renewal of the land and people, transforming barrenness into lushness (Isaiah 41:19, 55:13) My name is a symbol in the most POWERFUL book in the world! Can you imagine?? I am Myrtle, a beautiful girl who was found scared and homeless... with 8 PUPPIES!!! and what happened is that the rescuer KNEW I am a symbol of restoration!! I came in so so skinny, so scared and so HOPEFUL that I would have a safe and wonderful life and I AM!! Now, this is where you come into my story..... ADOPT ME!! I a sweet and smart and happy and all my pups adopted and i am ready too... I will be nervous when I first meet you, but that comes from my beginning story... Let's write the final chapters TOGETHER!! Do you want that gorgeous, but humble pup? A mama who wants to know what a comfy couch feels like?? Can you help me learn how to be a couchy potato?? I am waiting!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
